Well, just home from that shower of shite. Earlier than usually actually given how easy it was to get out at FT. Cant really blame one or two players, in fact, Im not convinced the players hd a clue what they were doing. Odd line up which tells me Sam still isnt sure how he wants the team to play. that also questions his players brought in. If he didnt know hwo he wanted to play, how can he target players of a certain style if he doesnt know how they will fit in? Meh...

I said from the get go that Id give Sam a chance and in the first season Id like to see us finish top half so next season we can push on for a Uefa spot. Forgetting about my *HOOF* observations, on todays display I honestly dont think Sam knows what he is doing. By that, I mean he doesnt know what formation he wants to play, doesnt know if he wants wingers or not, doesnt know if he plays long ball or not. Im also puzzled why Zog and Milner play that way around? Other than perhapos back up for Viduka, you couldnt really look at the starting team and pick an obvious weakness. for me its the overall tactic and play thats not right. Nicely poised for next weekend eh

I was there about 7 years ago. Canny place, wouldnt put it down as a fave like. It is a footballing country and Id like to see hwo they host a WC, its just so corrupt though. They'd have to do a hell of a lot of work on the stadiums though. While there I went to see Botafogo at the Maracana (they play in b&w stripes you know ), prob about 20-25k attendance but in that stadium made it look pretty empty. No way would that pass fo rthe WC is it was then though. While I know the Brazilians follow their country passionately, I wonder how they would take to the other games? Though Id imagine thye tickets would be pretty cheap so the locals could afford to go? Nice place Rio though, if you dont wander into the slums behind the main shopping area.
