Last night watched An American Haunting. Was alreet. Seemed to get itself mixed up to the end or maybe that was just me.
-
Actually aye, sad bastard that I am. Ive dabbled a bit in the old geneology. Mixes quite well with my interest in the equally exciting local history. Despite the sites infamy, the genes part of it is actually pretty good. Unless of course your brother is Dave Smith for example then you have a lot of work to do
-
Agree with both of the above two.
-
Yup, only 30mins to go ... until I leave for work
-
Well, it was still pretty important to get the point to ensure we won the group meaning we wont face a CL dropout team in the next round.
-
For about the last few years aye

no different to fat fred tbh. the most importrant thing is that they're not simpletons, like our current chairman. Not quite true. They could quite easily say they wouldnt invest (in players) if we made losses in any period. Now WE all know that would never work as you would weaken your position and probably start a downward spiral. Then again, they seem to have suggested they would invest in the team initially. Their comments also suggest they would want to build a successful team. Then again, they are currently trying to sell themselves to the shareholders.

NWN2 - not that great. Went back to WoW on the PC. Waiting for PS3 though much to my wifes annoyance as I "dont use the PS2 anymore".
-
I'm really unsure what to think about it. They have one priority, to make money for themselves. Though its sounds good saying to make money in football you need to make a successful team, it still makes me nervous about it.

Id give him an extra year. I cant see us bringing enough CBs in to afford loosing them. He could leave from the winter (iirc) on a free and moore has said he is leaving in the summer. While Taylor is good enough for CB and Ramage is coming on, they both still need improvement and that will come with experience. Unless we brought in 2 top CBs then Id give Bramble and extension. This would allow us to bring one in during the winter and another in the summer. Id be happy with Taylor, Ramage +1 +1

the first one was class , so Ill prb go see this one as well. Im not really arsed about the Borat movie though
-
Aye they say it much better than me About the subtitles, I usually find if a film is crap then subtitles are an annoyance, but if the film is good such as this one, you forget they are there and read them without thinking about it.

Right aye, sorry crossed wires. Obesity is a bigger problem in te number of people, I think I meant that one obese person is not necessarily worse, but still bad as one that is waaaay to thin.
-
yeah I got the pm, and also an email to my work addy where I registered meaning it came through to my mobile
-
Obesity and the associated health risks are a much bigger (boom boom) problem than a few girls wanting to be Kate Moss. Whooaa there trigger dont under-estimate the effects of being under weight. Seriously. Now I am talking in excess here, not just skinny. Those with eating disorders brought on by their obsession with being thin and/or conditions such as anorexia & bulimia.

Maybe as its about the "Spanish" civil war, having the captain (capeetan) speak in an american accent maybe with a cigatr hanging from his mouth just wouldnt have been the same
-
On a plane?
-
Well, aye it was canny alreet I enjoyed it. Also aye, its spanish with subtitles, as it should have been. Its quite a dark and sad tale over all. A girl caught up in the Spanish civil war, its centres around a struggle between the two sides and also the enchanted side of the girl. Does have a clive barker feel to it, but isnt overdone and is only in part about the mythical side, a good mix of the two. Also, the cherry ice cream was canny as well

Actually, I find that a more serious trend. People know if they are obese (I mean seriously), they are threatening their own life in numerous ways. Yet, society turns its head away from these "supermodels" who are skin and bones and applauded for it. The issue of those who try to accomplish that I think is mental aye, but they also believe they wanted to be as thin as those portraid on the catwalk. I dont know the whole psychology of it, but it cant help seeing these people being called "super" models.

Correctomundo. I suppose its a canny "guide" but height to weight ratio doesnt say a great deal. My BMI says I'm fine, but in reality I know I need to drop fat%. My problem was enjoying food a wee bit too much, not that big a drinker. that, along with sitting on my arse all day at work and then again when I got home. "trying" to get myself into some kinda shape now (and not the one that was a sack of spuds)
-
Well, Im off to see it the neet so expect my full review later (along the lines of "canny", "alreet" or "shite").
-
Kebab Actually, I do get the odd one, but only ever chicken ones.
-
its cos I dont get off my fat arse and burn calories...
-
When gets me, is at what point someone thinks "Hmm, Im getting a bit chubby here, I best do some excersise or cut back on the MacD's" Surely it must be before reaching this stage?
-
Naah, I always factor in at least ten minutes' forum time per hour of graft. Canny ratio aye
