  1. Billy Connolly would prob be my fave, Spike Milligan was a genius in an unconvensional way. I thought Rob Newman was good but he never really seemed to take off. Then the old guy who's name escapes me, died fairly recently. Full head of grey hair and used to sit on a tall stool sipping water..
  2. Today Ive been mostly drinking ...... crushed apple juice though last night I was on the Desparado's - if you aint had it, I recommend. They do it in Agora (ex-empress) which is a canny little venue nowadays. Desparado is a bit like Sol, but also has tequila in it, though you cant really taste it. Nice with a slice of lime in the top and comes in at a not too shabby 5.9%
  3. How do you have a fake rip? What was it, drawn on? I had LEE jeans when I was a kid like and also Pepe.
  4. I use that screen select thing as well, its pretty good though Im running out of things I want to add to their list of what they can send me. Im on the 9.99 1 DVD at a time package and it usually works out that I get 4 per month which is cheaper than me using Box Office on Sky all the time. I watched Hostage (Bruce Willis) over the weekend which was canny in a typical Bruce Willis kinda way. Also watched one which name escapes me (damn my memory of a goldfish) with Tom Cruise where he hijacks the taxi driver for the night. Again it was canny. I went to see Superman and seem to have been one of few people that wern't that impressed. Nothing as good as the recent Batman release which is the same genre.

Is that the one just up from the metro station? My sister went there for hers and recommended it. 165688[/snapback] Aye it sure is. Parking can be a bit of a pain or you you are getting the metro its just down the road a bit and on the left.

    Slow Office

Well, Im currently uninstalling all the stuff that shouldnt be on my works lap top (you know, FM2006 etc) as well as a few utils I no longer use. Ive also ran msconfig and stopped a couple of things starting with windows. I do know that Nortons does pre-check everything I open though Im sure I only have their firewall as I use AVG for antivirus. I tried defragging but it said I didnt have enough disk space hence the uninstalling. I'll then defrag again later.

I quite like "some" of the womens feet tattoo's. I know my mates wife has a flowery thing on her foot to ankle which looks canny. I've drew all but one of my tats myself, my favourite being my nufc badge on my calf which I included in a tribal design. Most painful would have been parts of my back, though my left arm seemed to be the most unpleasant one while getting it done. My first one I had done at Ozzies, also been to the guy on the west road, the guy who used to be in Gosforth and the last one I had done in whitley bay and they were prob my preferred both for comfort in the place, and the general crack you have while in there. (The fact he gave me a bottle of beer while I had my back done helped as well).

    Slow Office

Well, ive since noticed that even going into my computer and browsing through the C: drive seems slow. Im leaning to it being something dodgy on the pc. Mind, Im running Spyware Doctor which Ive not ran for aaaaaages and so far it says 82% complete, 390 infections found and while Im sure some of them are harmless, I reckon there will be something in there that shouldnt be.

    Slow Office

No I dont mean things are slow in here today and I thought I post for something to do Basically Im having trouble with Excel & Word. Both run fine and when I get a document open they can be worked on fine. The problem is in between times. When I select "open" on either software, the comp takes about 2mins to bring the bar down (which has drive letters so I can navigate etc). Then when it eventually lets me continue and I double click a drive (say C:) I have to wait another 2mins while it thinks about it and so on again and again. Im gonna do a full virus scan later when I leave work. Im also about to run a spyware check. Any other ideas? ta
  14. Dead Birds I'm in that screen select thingy and this came through the door. Sure it wasnt on my list but I watched it anyway. Starts off in a typical western scene. After a couple off shootings and blood splattered heads you realise its not your run of the mill western. The gang of people may their way to a house in te middle of nowhere and on the way encounter some kind of bald twisted dog like animal, and kill it. When at the house they basically all start freaking out and either killing or bring killed. Its kind of a horror flick and I did end up watching it all. Wasnt bad, and worth watching when there's nowt else.
  15. Been playing Titan Quest on the PC but also just got City of Hero's On the PSP Ive just got GTA.
  16. Hmm, I'm busy reading a book on Northumbrian History myself. Says nowt about scrabble though

    Hobbies.

Well, started off with researching my family history but that developed into an interest in Local History. That would be one hobbie, though I do enjoy online gaming but dont class that as a hobby, just something that annoys the hell out of Mrs JawD.
  18. 6 years time? No chance.
  19. As my loafing session commences this afternoon, I was going to try to have a go myself, but I simply dont have enough one word answers to be able to. In fact, Im usually the opposite by giving the simplest of answers a geet slab of drivvel. But hey, stops me brain from ceasing ... seasing ... seazing ...meh, grinding to halt..
  20. You could also use props if you can get them in there before hand. You could do the old notes on a bog roll, or a huge pile of paper to be notes, or the tiny bit of paper to read from but go on for ages. You could take a rubber chicken and keep it in your hand but never refer to it bar waving it now and again as you are talking and being serious, or you could make up a A3 or A4 sign with "LAUGH" on it and one with "CLAP" on it for while you are going through to show to the audience. Good luck
  21. Nah, fact is, if you're gonna shit your pants, sneezing just made it happen that little bit quicker. Should count myself lucky I guess.
  22. Hey its no laughing matter this sneezing stuff like. Ive got a nose full of dribble and the frequent sneezes are having all sorts of disasterous effects. I sneezed before and nearly pulled my neck, earlier and my lower back ached and just now with no muscle ache, only a laptop screen splattered with snot and chilli crips. nice.
  23. Ok, Im used to using DC++, this thing though Ive tried is baffling me. Bit Spirit. Right, its installed, I told it where I want to put things, I gave it your link and GO! ..... erm, go? hmmmm.....
  24. Gan on man, someone must either have or point me to highlights of the 4-1 game I can downoad?
  25. Oh I must disagree. If you gonna drink coke you gotta drink if from a glass bottle. None of this diet malarky either. FACTASLURPIOUS!
