Well thats not bad, half two and Im only just starting to clock watch. Ok nearly half two... 14:28 in fact... Still.....
  9. Was one of the WC places I went to. I think this was the one with the river area with some decent bars & outside cafes etc. Anyway, each time I read this header I think of this (nsfw)
  10. I was a fan of the works as a kid, read the three books plus The Hobbit. All are canny reads and Ive read them a few times since. I also recall seeing an animated version of half of LotR when I was a kid. The recent films I thought were a good attempt though never quite what the books are (as usual). I tried reading The Silmarilion when I was younger as well and also gave up half way through. I think it would have been canny for The Hobbit to be made by the same crew for continuity more than owt else. Though, The Hobbit was more of a kids book even that LotR and Id expect the same from the film.
  11. So have the courts been deciding who won all this time since it happened?
  12. Aah the 20's, thought it was a great decade until the 30's came along...
  13. I picked up on that as well. Judging him on what I have seen, I tend to believe Clarky is more accurate, but then I wouldnt expect GR to slate him (Luque) in the press. Maybe he is trying to build him up as he is going to get a game.
  14. I wouldnt dump Carr, but I would bring in a decent RB for him to compete with. At the moment our other RB options seems to be square pegs etc.
  15. The one I usually recommend is La Riviera opposite Buffalo Joes on the quayside. Great food, great wines, good service and good atmosphere. Not the cheapest but its worth paying the little extra.
  16. Well, the biggest flaw being that you'd be guaranteed to hit the car in front or mount the cerb or whatever
  17. For me, IN - Forward, LB, CB (I think we'd be pushing it to get anymore in) Names is a bit tricky without knowing our budget but names such as Bent, Bridge, Upson. I think we should aim for the majority of incoming either to be world class (high unlikely if not impossible) or already done it / doing it in the prem. We cant afford to wait 6months for anyone to settle. OUT - Luque, Bernard (Squad too small to get rid of more yet). Unless we had a cracking offer for someone like Emre and use that cash to bring in another CB and maybe RB. Note, keep Milner
  18. http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/11/16/028939.html Good to see a county taking positive action. I know I would slow down. Edit - NSFW!
  19. Its a bit bloody different though. I agree about the blame culture and the money that people are trying to make for largely their own stupidity. Like, "Oh, yes I did break into his house, but slashed my face while jumping through his window. His fault for now putting a warning on the glass". Of course they know they are going to be shot, hence I agree that they should not be able to sue for compensation. But, and this is different, the government should offer those who return from fighting for their country injured a standard package for their loss/injury.
