  1. Shooting himself in the foot, gives him one less outlet to tap up players.
  2. Hour long Halloween special on BBC 2 at 10, if anyone is interested.
  3. It's canny, doesn't have the addictiveness of Fallout but still good. My Xbox doesn't like it though. Everytime I tried to play it the fan sounded like the end of the world was coming. So I stuck in some other games and it was fine. Installed it to the HD and after enduring the racket for that it played without the extra noise.
  4. It's a muddle of a few things. There's some fantasy, western and there are some sci-fi elements that do come to the front more towards the end. But it's completely character driven. If you like how King tells the stories of his main characters, how he puts the meat on the bones then give it a shot. By the time you're into the third book you've got a cast of characters that you really give a shit about. There are quite a few nods to other books and re-occuring characters from other stories that you might get a kick out of if you read Salems Lot, The Stand or Hearts in Atlantis. I've heard people say the first book takes some effort to get through, I thought it was fine and finished it in a day and a half. But it kicks up a gear with the second and third books.
  5. More into the stuff that links to the Dark Tower, Talisman and Dark House are both great. Both him and Straub keep promising a third Jack Sawyer book. Joe Hill, one of his sons, has done some decent stuff too. Horns is my favourite and a really good well rounded effort, Heart Shaped Box is decent too but kinda lags at the end after going at a break neck speed to start with some genuinely creepy moments.
  6. Snap. Was gonna wait a little while, but caved and ordered it today. Should be here tomorrow.
  7. Just finished my first run through and I don't think it's possible to complete every quest. When you get to Mr House no matter what you do you will fail some. Ditto when it comes to the ending I don't think it's totally possible to get a good one for every faction/village.
  8. Barely started with it, but I like the idea of selecting important events rather than trudging through childhood and schooldays to get to the music stuff.
  9. The unenviable task of following Gemmills find: http://img5.imagebanana.com/img/8m9qrfyr/boobs1.gif http://imgur.com/vjSGB.gif Just stuck the links in as they are both NSFW
  10. Just like slipping back into a comfy pair of slippers, albeit ones that have had a bit of a makeover.
  11. Bale hattrick. Bit fucking mental.
  12. Got the text from shopto this morning. Sent by first class. So should have it tomorrow. looking forward to it.
  13. very tempted. However with Fifa just out and Football Manager next month I'll wait till its down in price. Getting good reviews. I'm all prepared. Got the cash for this, Fable 3 and FM 2011 waiting. Then I saw the trailer for Assasins Creed
  14. Tom Bosley pegged it doday. Don't think anyone would have had him though.
  15. Seems very topical given a certain persons drunk postings.
  16. Cheers, that's the badger. Working like a dream.
  17. When I try to enter that info under static it just disappears when I exit settings and come back, there's also no space for default gateway.
  18. On the DHCP and BootP I can't. But if i click on static i can enter the ip, subnet, router and DNS (which I could on DHCP).
  19. Just started with O2 yesterday and got everything set up with my current router instead of using their own one. Everything else connects no problem without any change to their setting, (xbox360, HTC Desire and my old nokia 5800) however my ipod touch just doesn't want to know. I tried renewing the lease and telling it to forget the current router. But everytime I try to go online I get a message saying it can't connect to the internet. Now it connects to the actual router. But I can't get internet access. Anyone else had these problems?
