How to fuck an interview up that was going so well..become Project Manager and release your inner twat. Leading a team really did bring out the worst in him didn't it? Methinks it has not gone unoticed and his days are numbered.

To be fair to Haye, I think he was surprised at how bad Harrison was. I think he was waiting for the big onslaught he promised, and being a classic counter puncher, was then going to way in. By the 3rd round he was still doing nowt, so Haye got bored and knocked him out. Bizarre.

What I really hate about this season is...
sweetleftpeg replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
I said this at the game but it does seem like since we've been away and come back that cheating, gamesmanship, timewasting has got much worse. -
He was pretty anonymous Lovenkrands, forgot he was playing to be honest. Excellent Championship/SPL player, nor PL class though. Guthrie on the wide right has been a disaster for the last two years, it isn't going to change, the more often you play him out there the less confident he will become and the more mistakes he'll make. It's not going to change, we're not going to one day see a miracle and him have a stormer out there. I'm not a massive fan of Routledge but surely at home when the emphasis is on us to attack he has to play him instead? It's not like he's got many more options.

Watched the game with a fairly objective head (ie I wasn't pissed) and I have to conceed they were worth their 3-0. Let's just hope the same Chelsea turn up here a week on Sunday, although I doubt it..

Shockingly, I'm missing the Liverpool as some selfish BASTARD is getting married and I have to go. It'll never last tbh.
-
Lots of things you could say about the performance last night. What I will say is that I was more disheartened by the way a sizeable amount of 'fans' turned on us very early on. Disheartened, but not surprised sadly.

If anyone is still not sure of how dignified Hughton has been throughout his management here, just look at the odious cunt that will be sat on the away bench tonight.
-
You know what I love most about this one, the lone lion sitting on the podium throughout the whole thing oblivious to what's going on that then turns round near the end and sort of goes 'here we go again' before turning away again.

How tall are you and what weight are you, Sugartits?

I'm getting a picture of Billy Askew here like. Minus the ging. Although same footballing ability.. -
As John Snow said, the point he was making is that he's got the choice to wear one because of the sacrifices made. I know various war vets who refuse to wear one on the basis that we still go to war, so claim nothing has been learnt. Having said that, the 'protest' at the Celtic game was tasteless and pointless. Don't wear one of you don't want to, simple as, but don't go upsetting those that do.

5ft 6" (stop sniggering) but a newly and nicely healthy 12st 13lbs, which I'm as happy as a pig in shit about. -
Which is one of the reasons I think Barton has done well, I thought last year and the start of this year he was getting penalised/booked because he was Joey Barton..something that would piss lesser players off and make them more likely to kick out.

It's amazing what confidence can do to a team, not arrogance, confidence. When you know everyone around you is giving 100% then you're more likely to give it yourself. When you know you've got a centre forward who's deadly in the air then you're more likely to put a cross in. Everytime even a half decent cross comes in you half expect him to get on the end of it. I never get carried away with players, I'm usually the first to tell everyone to calm down and stop overrating players..but if this kid can stay off the drink and out of trouble (the signs aren't great tbh) he has the potential to be an exceptional talent. Dare I say, class.

Sadly, I got this. Three league wins in a row since he started wearing the suit. Keep it up Chris. Joking aside, we have players who are playing to their best becuase they WANT to play for him, something we haven't seen since KK.

What did I say about not changing a winning team? I'm as happy as a pig in shit. You've got two centre halfs who look excellent as individuals and a partnership, you've got a holding man who never stops running, and a centre forward who even when he doesn't score is a right pain in the arse to mark. In short, a backbone. This team has the graft and togetherness that the one that got relegated sadly lacked. You've got to say, it has to be our manager who deserves the credit.

I don't get in the Trent anymore, noty since they shitted up the jukebox..so I'm fucked if I know who's side I should be on. Anyway..
-
Thank you so much for providing me with my new desktop background for work. Mwahaha..
-
Plus, I'll think you'll find that most Liverpool fans see Man Utd as their big derby game.
-
I've noticed in toon the last couple of years the amount of mackem tops/coats creeping back into the city centre..I'm guessing that might change now..
-
He has to stick with wearing the suit rather than the tracksuit in the dugout now, wore it at West Ham as well and we got a result.
-
Great balance at the minute. With Tiote it gives Nolan and Barton confidence to go forward as they know that the guy behind them is more than capable of covering ground and winning it back.
-
Quite possibly his best game at home for us ever. Held it up well, controlled it, distributed it well. The fact we had two geordies up there destroying them makes it even more sweeter.
-
Credit where credit is due, goes to show how much better he is playing in midfield instead of as a supporting forward.
-
Don't change a winning team. Especially one that's just destroyed the opposition. Is destroyed a bit harsh? No, probably about right.
