  1. I was once involved in a 20 minute 5-a-side game where we won 27-0. To rub salt in the wounds I came out of nets last couple of minutes to swap with the lad who was scoring all our goals and got 2 myself. One of the kids playing for the opposition had some sort of medical tube going up his nose and had some sort of limp. They were the 5-a-side equivalent to the Raggy Dolls.
  2. Ha-de-ha. For what it's worth, I think Mancini will get sacked early doors.
  3. Alan Green, Spooney, Lovejoy, and now Savage. Seriously, is anyone who isn't an armchair 'Big Four' 'fan' find any of them relevant? 'Today's subject on 606, we're going to go on and on and on about the same four clubs and patronise you to shit if you dare to ring about a lower league team.'
  4. Haven't listened to 606 for a long time as it seems to just line up clueless generic Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea glory seeeking fuckwits to present in an attempt to be controversial/down wit da kids. That in turn then just attracts generic Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea glory seeking fuckwits to ring up and preach to us all about a game they weren't at and didn't see. I'm not a fan, can you tell? Doesn't surprise me Robbie Savage is on there now, it fits in with their rectruitment policy.
  5. Try to go and see North Shields when I can, officially the coldest ground on the planet and home to the fantastic Beacon Centre stand (sits 8). Although possibly soon home to a 20,000 seater stadium. Seriously.
  6. I still stick by what I said at the time about him being in the wrong more than Souness. Should never have faked injury. Would I have him back? Looking at this squad, 100% yes.
  7. To be fair I remember him saying that he used to love trips to SJP more than any other ground during the KK/SBR era's because the occasions and atmospheres were so special. Ok then, make that rarely instead of never. He also picked Shearer as his favourite PL footballer of all time. I'm actually surprised to read he's got us as going stright back down, someone else I now have to irrationally hate this year.
  8. I'm off to Zante in September for a well needed break. Off to the Sahara in March as well.
  9. It's definately a top with a France theme. Tour de France.
  10. Massively, massively worried about any combination of Nolan/Guthrie/Smith/Barton. Totally out of their depth less than 2 years ago at this level, I'm not expecting great things to be honest. Guthrie I have more time for, except the poor bugger will have his confidence ripped from him the minute one of wingers gets injured and he's forced to sit out there and look lost. Not his fault by the way. Ho-hum.
  11. Definitely. We have a fat scouse cunt (Nolan), a total scouse cunt (Barton) and a miserable scouse cunt (Taylor). Newcastle 2010 If it wasn't for Nolan we'd have been far worse off last season. Sometimes you have to count your blessings, no matter how fat they are. Oh aye, he fouund his level, fair play to him.
  12. Aye, not only did Barton leave his leg in but Nolan also lost his rag and lashed out when he didn't have to. He was also looking a bit chunky I thought Nolan. On a positive note though, I thought we looked quite sharp on the counter attack and closed down quickly and well.
  13. I'll play but only if I'm on a team with Jonny2J again, we were the Shearer and Sutton of the last tournament. i.e old, knackered, and retired.
  14. If you're saying there is too much on and too many people off on the sick then just hit him with those facts. What I'm trying to say is, tell him diplomatically that it's tough shit.
  15. Back to the BT bit, I know exactly what happens next as I've had an e-mail from them; they put up call and rental charges the cunts! (sorry Cath)
  16. Kind of touching on the lack of decent British footballers debate on here..I personally think there are some technically brilliant and naturally gifted players playing in 5/6/7-a-side leagues in this region...it seems more so that in 11-a-side. Could be a number of reasons for that.
  17. I have to admit being an atheist..although going to Catholic School and having a devout Catholic mother gives me that twinge of guilt feeling. I have no problem with religions, until people start using them as excuses to mistreat people/act like twats/blow people up. However, as I've got older I've learnt not to tar all church goers and pepole who believe in religion with the same brush. My wifes sister and her husband are very devout CoE but to be fair to them they never push it on anyone. I have to say though, a lot of the US stuff is scary shit.
  18. Hang on..rewind..when did the toontastic posse start giving blowjobs out at the meetups? Why wasn't I informed? Time for a return to them next season methinks...
  19. I went up there for one of our friendlies against Celtic a few years back. Was good craic, drank in the hoops bar before the game and it was friendly as owt, although had it been a competitive game I expect it might not have been so welcoming...as with any away game though. Loads of our lot got ejected for stirring the shit ie wearing Rangers shirts, donning Union Jacks, anti Irish stuff etc. Good day out all the same, tempted for a trip up to Ibrox.
  20. How come Titsley is commentating on his own? Has he shit himself again?
  21. My sister lives right next to that roundabout where he shot the copper and she's devestated. I mean, she's been telling everyone she lives in Lemington and all the news channels are calling it East Denton. She'll never live it down like.
