  1. Duff as one of them, fingers crossed.
  2. How many caps did Carlton Palmer win for England again? Yeah, and Distin can't even get one.
  3. Sylvain Distin - 0 Caps, Man City. Jean Alain Boumsong - 21 Caps, Juventus.
  4. I thought Distin was shit for us, and looks average for City. He's big and quick so he's half way there in looking like a decent centre half, but doesn't have the brains for it. Just like Boumsong. Infact, he's a shitter version of Boumsong. That's how shit he is. Plus, it used to annoy the piss out of me the way he'd throw his hands around in the air every time we conceded a goal. As a replacement for Bramble as third choice then yes, first XI - No.
  5. He's only looking out for himself like. He's not going to get a better contract than he's on whatever he'd done at PSV considering his age. We've treated him like shit, now he's going to pick up his wages for next 18months or whatever and'll have a nice pile of Euros for him and his family.
  6. Carr didn't last long did he. It's not a 451, so that's nice.
  7. Live premiership games on Freeview > SSN.
  8. One costs 10k/week, the other about 50k/week, plus sign-on fee in the millions. Or whatever.
  9. Link? Wasnt he arrested a few years back for hitting his wife? sure he wasn't married a few years back as he is only 16 now! That's Kazenga..
  10. I'm more surprised at the pungent farts I seem to be expelling today than us not signing anyone.
  11. No idea with radio. Diamond midfield, with Butt and Dyer at the two apex's.
  12. would be if we'll be playing watford every week, yes.
  13. footballstreaming.info should be bookmarked by one and all. there's apparently one stream, but it's offline at the moment. lots of delayed coverage though. EDIT - new stream appeared - playing adverts so far, added bonus of no chinese commentary as well.
  14. I'm going to France over christmas for a bit of boarding... if there's no snow, i'm bringing my Wii with me..
  15. Yeah, so just to bring this up again, because you know, it's vital for all concerned.. I've received a few things so far for free (or close enough anyway). Haven't really been trying too hard, so it's slowed down a bit, but i've received an ipod nano (which the lass is now in the process of slowly destroying..), an ipod video that's gone to my brother, an xbox360 came the other week, and i've got an order for the Nintendo Wii done, so just waiting for it to come out.. Also would have an order for one of them new 8gb Nanos if I get my skates on and buy some hosting, could get it before christmas.. Regarding some of the points raised above, i've yet to be screwed over by any of those sites in any way and haven't received spam whether by email or post. the only real negative aspect was the site i was trying to get a ps3 from - (the same site as j69) has turned a bit shit, and got rid of the free offers, so now i'm halfway to a ps3, and it now being rather difficult to complete as no fucker wants to spend a tenner.. chalk that one down to inexperience i suppose..
  16. sounds like you'tr all jealous tbh. jealous of his fame!
  17. Bollocks do they, the shoe wavers are the ones that love Luque.
  18. I don't give a fuck about his resale value or that he might come good. We're in a relegation battle, and at the moment, he's the worst striking option we have. Fuck him, and fuck the 9million, it's not like we've never pissed money away before. He's shit, so no need to play him. Oba, Dyer and Sibierski are rightfully ahead of him.
  19. Wembley Park is served by two tube stations and has 5 platforms - it has the capacity to bring in thousands very quickly. I think I'm also right in saying that it has the best transport links than any other stadium in London. Whether it should have been built in the midlands or whatnot is a different debate, but for me, the national stadium should be in the capital of the country. I presume you mean two tube lines rather than stations? I pass through Wembley Park station regularly (about once a week) and while it has undergone work as part of the overhaul of the stadium all this has amounted to is tarting up of the ticket hall, footbridges and platforms. The important stuff like capacity of passengers it is able to deal with has remained the same. So for those of you who remember what it was like at the '98 and '99 cup finals, it'll be exactly the same sort of crush if we ever get back there. That's not strictly true - the Jubilee line has added a carriage to all of their trains since last year .. I was at wembley park for the chelsea semi and I dont think they were using all of the platforms - but I hope they'd now use all four of the metropolitan platforms instead of the usual two (i guess that's down to nice old british efficiency..) - which would help considerably more had they expanded the footbridges.. To be honest, I thought they'd do more - certainly expand the foot-bridges, but the outside is a lot better now I think as well. But the thing is that it is probably the best served stadium in London with having two lines (although that's not saying much, london stadiums are shit for getting to/away from). But then isn't the millenium stadium a fucker to get to as well?
