Quite like that away kit, the home one and keeper's are not so good though. Abonglohor has to be one of the dumbest looking people in sport, constantly looks in a state of confusion.

Newcastle's Papiss Cisse plans club talks over new shirt sponsor

then surely it should have been resolved sooner instead of being put off until the transfer window opened -
Need to look more into Aubameyang, I don't really know too much about him. Poacher or creative?

Newcastle's Papiss Cisse plans club talks over new shirt sponsor

I don't think (more hope) he's angling a move away, but surely he could have opened his mouth a few months back instead of as soon as the transfer window opens? -
£70k a week?! I really can't see Ashley spashing the cash to get him as there will be little re-sale value with his age (29?) and injury-proneness. He'd become the new "Shola, get warmed up" on 65 mins week in week out while delivering nothing on the pitch, and for that wage we could have another 7 French players doing the same thing. Who else we'd go for in a similar category / premier league experience is hard to think of though, Odemwingie ? could work out well for our new sponsers too .... Odemwong-ie....... no? i'll get my coat

Truely diabolical, it reminds me of mid 90's goalkeeper tops. how can a brand create such a simple kit like Liverpools home kit (12/13) and then create that for an away top. Their 12/13 away strip was utter gash as well.

crazy episode this week, did not see that coming.

looking to see if I could spot any more leaked images of the home kit but could only come across the one that was on here earlier with the short sleeves, the only main difference being the patch on the back being white by the looks of things. If this design is indeed the kit for next season, I at least hope they go with the white patch, I think it looks a lot cleaner as this strip is in my eyes white with black stripes

Dreadful. How anybody in Puma can be happy with that is beyond me. At least we might get to choose the shade of black for the shorts in a season ticket vote. Every cloud.
-
Heh! Elliot has proven a great back up this season btw, had a few dodgy moments but he's played like he's a seasoned premier league keeper.

Interesting news about the potential of a playoff between Chelsea and Arsenal for 3rd place should both their results cause them to be level on points and goal diff and goals scored. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22537372 Basically if Chelsea draw 0 - 0 with Everton, and Arsenal were to win here 2-1, they would have to arrange a single game at a neutral ground to decide who gets automatic promotion. Personally I'd love to batter Arsenal at the weekend to sign off on a high and show that we can play against the top clubs before the summer to interest and new players / current players into being here next season. However it would make for an interesting one-off game

Thing is though, a company like puma should be able to get this. They surely must have some input from fans, people outside their company. But then they go and stuff it all up by over-designing kits every season instead of keeping it clean and simple

Has it already got a Sports Direct tag sale hanging inside it? Pretty much a non-effort away kit there, but I'm far more concerned with the leeks of the home kit, the collar bit looks awful. How they can over-design such a simple job is a joke.

That site burns the retina's just to look "if its not neon red or blue, get it off my site dammit!"

All the more reason for a Tottenham win tonight!

Santon is great going forward but his reading of the game defensively is woeful at times, Jonas has got him out of the shit on many occasions

My thoughts are the same regarding who fills that final space, but I feel if Wigan go down it hopefully means that it doesn't go down to the last game of the season as we rarely take many points of Arsenal. For the likes of Norwich etc to go down then its a last game of the season drop. Like you say, I'm more concerned we do our end of the deal against QPR and its all sorted before next weekend rolls around. Speaking of the QPR game, if anyone has a spare ticket I would more than happily help them out, I'm living 5mins walk from Loftus Road at the moment and being trying to get a ticket in the away end with little success up to now.

CIsse for me, but there's not really a lot to choose from. Cabaye had a purple patch when he was first selected as captain but is completely off the boil at the moment, regardless of fatigue.

What do people reckon the best outcome of Chelsea V Spurs is tonight? A Tottenham win sounds like the obvious choice to me, as not only does it mean Arsenal really have to go out and batter Wigan, but also that Chelsea can't take their foot of the gas against Villa at the weekend, which hopefully means Villa are still in the relegation battle come the last day of the season when they play Wigan.

I See Gardner is out also, picked up a booking against Chelsea which he's moaning on about on the BBC site today.

Massadio Haïdara signs for Newcastle on 5.5 year deal
scotty84 replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
I heard Barnes talking last night and was screaming at the radio. Like Whealen, he kept on saying it was a fair challenge and he won the ball. They must have watched a completely different tackle in that case. If you can stomach to watch it again.... 1 - Studs are up / showing when the player makes the tackle - is this not an automatic yellow regardless of winning the ball? 2 - HE DOESNT WILL THE F*CKING BALL, BARNES - it comes off Haidara's left shin and hits the c*nts left boot (NOT THE CHALLENGING FOOT) AFTER he plants his studs into Hairdara's knee. I seriously can't see how people are saying he wins the ball, regardless of all the shit that has came out afterwards from the FA.
