  1. media obsessed tbh. its a poor away top granted, but its nothing worse than we or any other club have had in our past - its identical to our home kit apart from the colours FFS! yet we STILL manage to get a slot on the bbc news, about a fucking away kit launch! FUCK ME THERE ARE BIGGER THINGS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD!! right, now thats out of the way, i'm off to the store to buy myself one of these and jump up and down outside the club store chanting shearer at the top of mylungs!
  2. thanks for that mate, I realised I was going to have to go somewhere I don't like I will ask what kind of thing my friends like and then choose from the sheeeeet. Are the girls not dirty and have no morales everywhere in Newcastle, or are you saying in Mood there just dirtier? mark the rub a dub dub is from Andrews brothers night there i think, check his blog out http://rub-a-dub-dubbb.blogspot.com/ don't know if its your sort of thing but try it out
  3. http://www.sunderland2018bid.com/ yeah just read this on .com as well! wtf, its like their 3rd image or something on their scrolling pictures of the city! cluthing at straws, Guess the web designer is still using floppy disks as you could fit all the decent pictures of Sunderland on one but the looks of things
  4. Nah, over run with orders for the new kit, they cant cope. tbf, as they culled all those jobs a few weeks back, Ashley probabaly thought "lets make a woeful away top that not even Newcastle fans will buy" so he's not understaffed in the shops!
  5. nail on the head! i remember some of the older kits started to loose their white stripes after a season or so and you'd have a load of people with tops that looked like they'd never wasthed them before, this looks like that only its new!
  6. exactly, its the light yellow stripes that make it fucking terrible, green and it wouldnt have been half as bad! lazy designing, take the home strip and tweak the colours, how can we fuck that up! oh, right, this is how!
  7. just got the New iPhone today, looking forward to getting it home and finally switching the thing on!
  8. i was just telling someone at work about this guy today! some of his stuff is genius "av finished echo the dolphin 4!"
  9. the blackpool away could have been worse - boro have them on a tuesday in February, at least we've got a chance of a good day out still if you take the day off work! Away i'll be going to a lot of the South West games like Bristol Carfiff Swansea etc and hopefully the ones in and around the London areas
  10. I think it will be sold come the start of the season, only i think i will be done with no time whatsoever to put in some considered buys in the transfer market so we'll either get little to nothing or simply panic buys like every other season
  11. i'll be doing it; helps getting away tickets like you said (if you haven't got a season ticket) and you get a free magazine every now and again which always makes good reading material on the toilet.
  12. the boro home kit is gash - fingers crossed ours isn't the same material it looks ancient! How is it that all Boro tops look like they should have been released 5 years before they are!
  13. beautiful goal by torres! The crowds are very annoying over there, sounding like a swarm of flies for 90 minutes in the iraq game and keeping up the noise for this one!
  14. just heard this interview on 5live, seemed like the guy was trying to sell us on air! "the training ground, stadium, top 7 club" same old same old. On the plus side i'd love it if the banks don't extend the scouse loans!!
  15. first one is a defo fake, horrible rendering which apple would never do, they only seem to do profile shots etc on plain backgrounds of their products, and the main button would never be like it is, looks more like a nokia or samsung. the second is more believable, simple updates like the cover going matte and the trim going black as well as the headphone jack movement. lost my LG viewty last week so cant wait for the new iphone to come out now!!
  16. people who send you a text along the lines of "what you up to tonight?" to which you reply " _________, how about you?" and the fuckers don' respond. its 10 fuckin pence, have the common curtosey to reply you lazy twats!
  17. The New I phone is due out in July i think, there's some Apple thing happening June 8th where apparently there will be some announcements on future apple things. Word on the street is their going to be releasing the 32Gig one. THe only physical difference i've heard is that the back is a matt / rubbery black, and the apple logo glows like on Macbooks etc
  18. I want Man ure to win tonight but this guy is a bellend! http://www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,237...5350458,00.html I hate how fuckin arrogant he is!!!!!!!!!
  19. Just finished season 4 and started 5 last night. Can't believe ____ is shot dead at the end of 4! Luckyluke - heard some good things about Homicide, going to have to give it a dabble
  20. Plymouth looks a tasty one for anyone travelling from home!
  21. he's done an ok job at Wigan but i would have liked to seen how he coped enxt season after a good run - especially with a few of the Key players jetting off to bigger things. THink they will be in the lower half regardless of if he leaves. As for Sunderland - I hope he fucking signs Bramble and he resorts back to his old ways when he actually feels the pressure of the crowd a bit!
  22. glad to see a couple of players coming out and showing some commitment to the club and the cause. Yes he could be forced out once the window opens, but i'd rather have players showing some kind of personal responce to the situation rather than getting agents to fodder the same shit
  23. from skysports: Damien Duff has pledged his allegiance to Newcastle despite seeing the club relegated to the Championship. The Republic of Ireland international suffered the indignity of scoring an own goal on the final day of the 2008/09 season against Aston Villa, with that 1-0 defeat sending the Magpies through the Premier League trapdoor. Keen to make amends for his, and the club's, failings this term, Duff has now vowed to do all he can to help the club bounce back into the big time at the first time of asking. That means he will not be seeking a summer exit from St James' Park and will instead be leading the club's promotion charge next season. "I'm as loyal as they come and, whether the gaffer (Alan Shearer) stays or goes, I'd love to try to get Newcastle back up into the Premier League," said Duff. "I don't know what words can describe the way I feel. I'm devastated. The lads haven't tasted relegation apart from me at Blackburn and Nicky Butt at Birmingham. "When it happened at Blackburn, I wasn't planning on seeing it again in my career. It's not a nice feeling. "No disrespect to the Championship, but Newcastle are too big a club to be down there. I plan on being straight back up (in the Premier League) after next season." Duff has also called on the Magpies board to hand temporary boss Shearer the managerial reins on a permanent basis. "I've loved working with him," he said. "It's been a proper, proper football club for eight weeks, and it's about time. It's just disappointing we couldn't stay up for him and the fans. "I think he's been brilliant even though we haven't got the results to keep us up. "It's the first time in a long while that this place has felt like a proper football club. Things are done right and it's been a breath of fresh air. "If there's one man to get us back up, it's Alan Shearer." Devastated Meanwhile, Newcastle defender Steven Taylor, one of the Magpies' local lads, admits relegation has hit him hard. "It's the worst feeling I've had as a professional footballer. It's the worst day in our careers," he admitted. "The dressing room was like a funeral afterwards. Everybody was devastated. I've got the European Championships with England Under-21s to focus on now. That's all I can do, but this is something I'll never, ever forget. "The 3,000 Newcastle fans who came down to Villa Park are the reason you play. It's got to be an honour to play for Newcastle United Football Club. "No matter who you are, what club you have played for, you've got to give it 100 per cent every single game. It can't be like the last 10 months, when it hasn't been good enough. "I know there will be changes at this football club, but I don't know what's going to happen. As players, we haven't got a clue. "But I'd just ask the fans to stick with us next year. We'll be giving everything to get the club back up where it belongs." _____________ Owen to come out and pledge his future here next...
  24. who do you think would take the hot seat if he decides to cut it short? I wouldn't be suprised if Dowie took control, and i think he could do an alright job in the championship, my only worry is that it woud just be an 'alright' job and mabye get us t=in the 3-6 spots
