would much prefer this to be a permanent deal but he'll help out massively short term.

Just heard on the radio that apparently NUFC released a statement moments after the latest JK interview was broadcast, denying that we have had any contact with Villa and Bent. You can see the PR guy, head in hands every time a statement comes out Joe's mouth...

Is anybody on here watching the last series of Dexter? I only got into it about a year ago, and it can be a bit 'unbelievable at times' (yes, i know!), but I've really enjoyed them and really intrigued as to how they are going to end the show. If you're a fan of the show, and wiling to spend an astronomical price to watch them again, then there are couple of cool box-sets coming out at the end.... http://www.slashfilm.com/dexter-the-complete-series-will-be-released-in-blood-slide-collectors-set/

did not see that coming! knew they were in a bit of a bad state (so say the least) but didn't realise this was a possibility. Apparently the meeting only took 10 minutes. Real shame to see this happen to any club. Bad day for football.
-
SSN also mentioning that st Mirren are keen to take Adam Campbell on loan.

Shame as he had so much natural talent and speed. I remember seeing him play against Southampton when we won 1-0, think it was 2006 when we had the gold NR sponser, one of the few games I've sat almost touch line for, and seeing him run at their defence time and time again was phenomenal, his speed almost didn't seem to make it fair.

Krul's back? Thought I read somewhere that padrew was saying he'd had a tough week training and was still not up to match play?! Anyhow, as long as they're not pushing him too early then it's good news as we really need him in between the sticks come the start of the premiership. Happy to see him giving Gosling some game time to potentially prove to him he could stay, don't rate him that highly (granted i've neber watched him play too many games) but we need to keep all our squad now

haha great! Do you reckon that'll see Taylor getting into some trouble for commenting / re-posting something that is so clearly mocking the men upstairs?

rubbing salt in cisse wounds i imagine, although an online discount might do down well with him. Absolute photoshop job been done of the sign, surely they could have printed a banner off for them to hold. The board is even photoshopped in, they've just told the players to stand there and the billy's either side to hold their arm out. The one on the right also looks like he was facing Saylor, and has pulled out of a hug to quickly look over his shoulder for the photo.

Lots of images of the new home kit from our u21's game against Kilmarnick http://www.kilmarnockfc.co.uk/articles/20130727/kilmarnock-under-20s-2-v-newcastle-united-under-21-0_85961_3329611

What is te latest with Remy? I read that we had been approached by QPR about a season long loan. Any truth in this or us going for a permanent deal?
-
When you see it in white as white light it is so over-designed, but the pic a few pages back that was posted of it being worn after a u21 match takes the glossiness off it and you don't really read the blue pin stripes of gold flashes everywhere. The rabbits tooth thing tips it over te edge for me though, really don't see why it's needed

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

passed the 'no-transfers this window' buck (and rightly-so) onto our fully active DOF this morning http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8837962/transfer-news-alan-pardew-hoping-to-keep-yohan-cabaye-at-newcastle- 10610 replies

Shola's looking like a new signing out there, pace, flair, silky footwork, the boys got it all.

what time is kick-off? Is Krul out with the Squad or is he still on the treatment table back in le toon?
-
What's Mbabu like as a player? Haven't seen him kick a ball before

I'm really surprised they don't release it sooner like most other clubs, making the most of the good weather when people want to wear light clothing and kids on summer holidays wanting to buy new tops to wear of their jollies. suppose they think we're muppets enough to buy the home strip and time and they soak all the other purchases up with the away kit sales
-
Shame as the black logo could have made it a lot simpler, but the kit doesn't actually look terrible in that photo, although you can't make much of it out and no rear shot which is generally where it fails every season.
-
My problem with these people who own small dogs at the moment is the need to pick them up off the floor all the time, especially for photo's. A friend just got back from holiday in Europe with theirs, and every other photo is one of them holding the dog like a American football under their arm. Also people carrying them on escalators. PUT IT DOWN!!!

Still pretty poor version. I'm shocked Wonga have allowed such a subtle version of the Wonga logo to be used and not their bright blue logo, makes a world of difference to the strip (in a good way). Having said that, I think Hearts had a maroon version on their home kit. Speaking of sponsors, anybody seen the Derby away kit of FSC.com, how high do try want to place the sponsor!!
-
Was this taken near Caladonian Road in London? my gf mentioned this to me when she got home earlier, minutes after I'd just seen it on here!
-
Looks like a championship strip. Cheap all over, something we're no doubt having this season

Freddie Shepherd on TalkSport, talking about the mispronounced names, rambling at the fans etc, and talking about the slight slight possibility he could have took a general discussion out of hand. If, and we all know with newcastle it isn't, but IF he has got the wrong end of the stick and he is not employed by NUFC, then I feel we've acted shockingly by not rectifying the situation after his first Sky Sport rambling the other day, and he was allowed to again go live and talk again.
-
He's more intelligent then us lot so I'm now confident he knows what he's doing, plus he can use a telephone whenever he wants which is always good in the modern game, I'd hate to think we'd employ somebody in such a position with poor telecommunication skills. Absolute Bellend. There was a small part of me that thought "meh, hopefully it was just part of his contract when his ticker went, that he'd get some sort of role when he was healthy again" and he'd just be sat in the corner with a water bowl and taken on a couple of walks around the training ground each day, but this interview has well and truly fecked me off.

Got TalkSport on in the background, an interesting link they have mentioned is Pardew out, Poyet in to work with Kinneir. Personally I liked the style of football Poyet plays with Brighton, when we played them this season they tore us apart (granted the team we had our was very weak and out of form). I'd only be worried about a resurrection on Dennis Wise.... :/ Thoughts?
