FIFA 23 seasons…. Been using Newcastle and the matching system wasn’t too bad coming up the divisions. Now I’ve hit division 5 and it’s mostly playing PSG…with a little bit of Real Madrid/Barcelona thrown in but the lads are playing ultra defensive counter attack and I just don’t have the team to compete. The matching system is a fucking embarrassment.

The “wah playuh proper class footbaaaal marrah” shite is simply another thing to add to the list of the intangible, unprovable things that comfort them. “All other clubs like us and hate the mags” - Not true. Not proven “Weeyah dead classy marrah, theya not!!” Lots of evidence to contrary ignored for fanciful delusions. They don’t play good football and nobody is talking about them. However a couple of clubs Top 3 Newcastle United took points against didn’t like us competing, so called our football poor and thus the delusion a mid table championship team playing like Barcelona was born. I watched the last week and they weren’t only lucky they were also absolutely shite. They’d get absolutely destroyed in the PL. Not that they’ll have to worry about it…

Yeh it’s a class 5, got it louder tonight as the drummer was involved and we were in a proper rehearsal room, it sounded fucking mint and the rangemaster really helped out It’s been through the Vox before I think & the other guitarist will probably order one after he’s been on the holiday he’s saving for. Once we got away from the set list we were learning we played Moby Dick by Zeppelin, both guitars at once and we laughed our heads off at how authentic it sounded. Super fun, especially with an insane drummer. Just got to meet him tonight and he’s like….hard rock clockwork

I think….I’m about to embark on a Gig with just an amp and no pedals (practicing in an art studio last night haha) Used just the LP and Marshall at practice last night and it sounded class, the other guitarist was playing an old Vox with an attenuator cooking the valves so the two mixed brilliantly.
