Good news. I think most of us will know someone who has had cancer and its fucking awful Apparently 300,000 people died from cancer in the UK in the last 4 years. That's the best part of 1million people in a decade. That's a big burden on the NHS, pension fund etc. if they all survive. Wouldn't be surprised if the top dogs in the world weren't too eager to find a cure for it. Or am I going a bit Parky?

Its luck if it works for 1 or 2 matches. Or if their best player gets injured after 10mins. Or their keeper chucks one in his own net. Or if one goes in off Joelintons arse. There's no luck about our players defending as a unit, chasing every ball, limiting shots on target from the opposition and having a cracking keeper. You make your own luck and after 23 games it's no longer just a flukey few matches

We are a striker and creative CM away from being a good team. We've beaten Spurs, Chelsea, Man United and drawn with Man City with blood, sweat and tears. Yes we've lacked quality at times but we've made up for it with effort. The likes of Pistone, Viana, Cabella, Thauvin would get kicked to fuck off their own team mates in this squad. Rafa and Rondon wanted fucking fortunes to stay which is why they are now working in the arse end of China and no-one else in England touched them with a barge pole. People need to let it go We've signed Almiron, ASM and Joelinton for £80mil and are reportedly after Bowen for another £20mil. We haven't been able to claim we are surviving on a shoestring this season. We've spent more than most teams. I don't buy shit from sports direct, I dont buy stuff inside the ground so im doing my bit. I pay for tickets and go to the game though and more often than not I enjoy it. Fuck anyone who gets their knickers in a twist over it. This board is just the same 6 or 7 posters posting variations on a theme, week in, week out. Some of them getting giddy when we get beat. They can't decide whether they are apathetic or apoplectic.

We need to figure out a way to get ASM and Almiron further forward. They spent most of the game at full back and when they won the ball back we ended up going down blind alleys as they were so far from the opposition goal. Joelinton did OK holding the ball up with long balls (although his 3rd touch was invariably a tackle) but rarely had anyone even in the same half as him. Bringing in Jarrod Bowen will make zero difference unless we figure out how to stop playing with 10 men behind the ball for most of the match

Sounds like this RWB from Inter and Bowen from Hull are our 2 targets for the window. Mad given our striking issues but I'd imagine having Muto, Gayle and Joelinton getting paid £200k pw between them doesn't help in convincing Ahsley we need another striker

Looks like he could be the first (? Only) one through the door. He's described as a winger but his highlights seem to show him playing RWB at Inter. Hes potentially a better option there for us than our current RBs. He's also can't be any worse than Atsu coming off the bench to replace Almiron/ASM CF and CM clearly need priortising though.
