  1. Jamal Lewis and Ryan Fraser still have 18months left on their contracts. Isaac Hayden has 2.5 years left on his! Schar, Lascelles and Krafth's contracts are up at the end of this season. As are the contracts of Ritchie, Dummet, Karius, Manquillo, Gillespie, Hendrick and Watts. We are going to be light on CBs at this rate
  2. We don't play with a number 10, so I get why we passed on Maddison. Alvarez and JWP at West Ham would have fit in nicely though
  3. Bought the "players version" replica shirt from China in a Large. Near perfect copy. Unfortunately it's skin tight 😂
  4. 3 new players called into the England squad, including Rico Lewis, and still no place for Gordon or Sterling
  5. Didn't Quiff Richard get banned from Ant after chucking a FOI request in just to be a cunt?
  6. Howe said earlier this season that Murphy can play as a CF if needed. As can Joelinton/Gordon. Ben Parkinson was CF for the U21s last season apparently. Let's just hope Isak is fit soon!
  7. Just got back from 12nights in Orlando. Nice weather and the bairn loved the theme parks, but fuck me, the £ is worth nowt abroad these days
  8. We could do with a young CF coming through the ranks to get 15/20mins at the end of games
  9. https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/38854734/panel-says-newcastle-goal-vs-arsenal-was-correct-decision?_nocache VAR panel has voted on the decisions in the Arsenal game - Goal was right to stand - Unanimous agreement that Havertz should have seen red - Split decision that Bruno should have seen red
  10. Isak and Wilson have the best goals per minute ratio in the league. Not sure how involved we need them to be if they keep that up
  11. Willock, Longstaff and Joelinton picks itself in the middle. Gordon and Almiron back in up front. Alongside Ritchie I imagine, if Wilson is injured. Wouldn't be surprised to see Krafth start at full back to give Trippier a rest.
  12. Milan losing already. If they get beat today and against Dortmund then we only need 1pt from the last 2 games
  13. Under Keegan/Robson/Rafa, I wouldn't have been confident of beating Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal with half of our first team injured. As good as they were as managers, and as many good results we had under them. Putting 8 past SHU, thrashing PSG, scoring 5 against Spurs in 20mins. These used to be once a season highlights. These games are happening every other week atm! Add in the turnaround in players like Joelinton, Murphy, Longstaff, Lascelles etc. and Howe, imo, is the best manager we've had in the premier league.
  14. Chelsea must have been laughing all the way to the bank. They knew they made a mistake signing him for big money
  15. I think it was more "If we've signed Tino, why did we bother signing Harrison 6months earlier". It's a rhetorical question though, as we didn't know Tino would be available at the time
  16. Probably between him and Haaland. I have a soft spot for Kane. He reminds me of Shearer. He's not particularly quick, he doesn't have a trick, he's not a huge target man, but he's managed 353 goals in the last 9.5 seasons for club and country and he's only just 30
