Was Carroll injured before the Spurs match or just during it? I cant remember now if someone said it was exacerbated or not during the game.
-
Was it any good then?

Tell me about it. Her mother is a classy, intelligent cultured Parisienne from a good background, her dad's from Whitley Bay. Fuck knows how Charlotte will turn out. Well-dressed and mouthy would be my guess.

I got a message on friday at work offering the flu jab to me and the family. Our lass is a pharmacist, asked for her thoughts tonight and she reckons neither the girl or us needs to get flu jabs. However, when i asked her if it was her personal or professional opinion, she said she didnt really have a professional one. Not that helpful really Seeing the reaction the girl had on her arm to one of the MMRs was a bit concerning. Its fine now but was a bit minging for a while. As a harm/risk its nothing compared to the disease being protected against, which should be used to guide decisions like these. For the flu jab, the harm/risk trade-off is not clear since the getting a strain of flu builds immunity against the virus anyway. How any evolved strain of the virus will be protected against is unclear. So there is an argument not to get a flu jab. The other side of the argument must be that if the person is at risk of not recovering from the virus then clearly the harm/risk trade-off is clear. Anyway Parky, am not really one for reading books at the minute, i tried a few beforehand but taking things as they come. Concentrating on the simple things and being chill has meant that we've got a chilled kid. Cuter than words can describe. I did read a review of a book that came out last year by some bloke which caused a stir saying that until a child turns 3 they cant distinguish right from wrong or something.

Am feeling it too mate, as you said the other day, they're clearly a better team but we've got a chance in this game. Not sure i agree on them scoring first though, early pressure and get the crowd into it. Suppose this is the match thread now the other one has turned into geneticists and genitals.

Stevie, Re: Hounding out allardyce / wall-pushers, would it not have been better to just simply argue the case that we didnt hound him out? Ask them for what they based that on first, then explain the support at the Wigan (and Stoke?) matches, the murmurs of discontent at home but the complete absence of any suggestions of Keegan. Explain that there was unhappiness but as ever enough people (especially away) giving him plenty of backing that the idea of him being hounded out had to be nonsense. I had dinner with a Charlton / Man U fan last night and he goes the situation at Liverpool is just like it was at Newcastle. Everyone seems to think that but no one wants to look at it objectively and rationally. After i had said my piece last night he basically agreed that there is very little that is similar between Hodgson being literally hounded out by the fans and their clamouring for King Kenny and what happened here a couple of years back. Winds me right up to hear people saying the two situations are the same.

Well SWP is definitely leaving Man City as Mancini virtually said it, so if he doesnt have a move sorted elsewhere, it could be us.
-
Why? We have Barton who can play on the right, why would we need a 3rd option?

Am shocked. I thought you lived in South Shields. -
Well acquainted with said duvet, are you?

Streaker at the derby There was also a lad who ran on the pitch from the south west corner, ran back into the crowd and took his jacket off to try and hide. Polis got him eventually.

Good enough for Sir Bobby is good enough for me. Seems sensible all round.

That wasn't racism, just telling him who he looks like Private Eye made a similar observation a year or so earlier. Then it was witty satire, on the terraces it suddenly became racist. I hope you make it as a writer. We'll be in a safe pair of hands.
