The Cut Copy one is great. 80's synth dance pop in the vein of Hot Chip/LCD soundsystem. For example... I got In Ghost Colours when it came out, bt tat didn't impress me as much. Just downed this after listening to above, and it's excellent so far, might just make a purchase. Champion. I'm not so keen on the Iron & Wine one. In future, can you not leave it 5 days between 'am listening to it' and 'the review'. Been that pressed for time i nearly bought it on the basis of your mention without listening first. Will have to listen to it now. Am trying out Adele (not sure), Joan As Policewoman (promising), Anna Calvi (liking it) and Agnes Obel (needs more listens). Dont know which one to get though.

Cheers Gejon. Meenzer aye it was lush. I've never been the most cultured of people, never really been in to posh restaurants, but last 3 or 4 years I've been to quite a lot, and you do start to enjoy it eventually....especially when you're not paying. A night out in a posh restaurant to me was a night on Stowell Street in the past, but when you go a bit more up market you see the difference, not least in the quality of food. Comes to us all eventually, you think you'll never get tired of going out on the piss then one day a pizza and a bottle of wine seems like a better idea. The old adage is you celebrate your 20th birthday with alcohol, your 30th with drugs and your 40th with food. When the kids are all grown it'll be back on the gear for me 60th.

Re your mate Stevie, i would advise him to refuse to speak to the Dad and keep his dignity as a man. Sounds like the sister's are interfering cows and its got fuck all to do with them. If this lass loves him, then they should sort it out between them and at the age of 32, it does not require any intervention from the family.

I know there is some blatant hypocrisy going on with the 'what if' game but with the margin between success and failure so narrow at times, its fair to say that if the last two games had finished after 90 minutes, we'd be a point behind Sunderland with a game in hand and CT's prediction earlier this season should have at least 10 posters on here eating humble pie. Interestingly, The Fish, who had the longest disagreement with CT regarding his optimism has completely piped down. Its a shame like because we didnt get those points and we could quite easily get sucked down the table with a poor run. However, that hasnt happened yet and one thing that does need to be said, is that given the narrowness of the margin of error/success, calling someone a stupid cunt for believing in the positives (that we had gone on to win our last 2 games) is now clearly the stupider of the 2 positions. Its a case of close but no cigar but it clearly wasnt that stupid a position to take. If it all goes massively tits up from here, i'll be very surprised as again the performance level was more than good enough again. As for yesterday, we clearly benefitted from Bale's departure as he would have stretched Barton and Simpson more than they were. We also on another day would have scored the second goal and won the game. Spurs probably deserved a point but if they have to rely on midfielders to score they couldnt have complained about a loss. Thought Defoe and Crouch were poor.
