There has been talk of MA being the one making money at the bookies too.

Anyone think that the players anger will come out on the pitch against the dippers? I wonder whether they are more pissed off or more dejected? Such morbid fascination about this weekend I feel bad even thinking about it this way.

You never know what to believe anymore but suffice to say if any of that is true, it doesn't amount to a plan at all. It's just a case of sack someone one day and see who else is interested the next. During the Sports Direct 'Blue-sky' weekend retreat. 'I've had a great idea, why dont we rip the rulebook up on manager's contracts and do something no one has ever done before?' Except sacking a perfectly good manager and being a total arse to the person you next give the job to has been done before.

Star and Express are the same company so its one brief from the source. On the question of finding out who is brave enough on friday, what happens when the answer is 'none of them are that stupid'?

Read this on Sunday on the Chronicle website. US firm did a leveraged buy-out of three agencies, the other two in Bristol and London. Fucked the finances and since the crisis were unable to keep it afloat. The underlying business was fine, the US parent company had too much debt and the whole thing collapsed.

You're a good lad and all that Parky, but that's pish. The performance at Arsenal was one of the most committed I've seen off a toon team ever. That's only 3/4 weeks ago. And the performance against WBA was shocking and that was 3 days ago and the one agaist Bolton was a week ago, things were slipping and thats a fact Read Alex's post above. I did then I read the shit you posted What that it was 3/4 weeks ago we produced one of the most committed showings I've ever seen you stupid cunt? Well we did. The reasons our form suffered are obvious. No knob head, I know we played well against Arsenal and yes it was 4 weeks ago but barring the Chelsea game we ave been gash. 2 points from 15??? What if after the next 4 or 5 we were at the bottom, what would you do? watch re runs of the Arsenal game?? If, after the next 4 or 5 games we're in the bottom 3, do we then sack the new manager? LOL, you dont get it do you!! Ashley his made his decision and I didnt say I agreed with it but I can see why he has done it. It was either back him or sack him and he didnt have the confidence in him. All im saying is see what happens next before judging So you're on the fence then. Fair enough. Thats exactly where I am for the moment. No matter what people think of Ashley he`s not stupid. If he doesnt have a plan and someone lined up to step in I will be surprised. If he doesnt then he should have stuck with Houghton If he does have a plan, i will be surprised. Do you think he wants us relegated again? Where would that leave him?. If we end up fucked I will hold my hands up but I dont think he would have done this knee jerk style with no back up plan His desires and his decisions are not often related though so, its irrelevant to ask if he wants us to stay up. The idea that the man is 'intelligent' and a 'planner' is laughable. He's a ruthless opportunist, nowt else. I would like to think that Jol resigning is an indicator you are right though, and that Jol coming (if true) would then be an indicator he has money to spend in January. However, Jol is not announced yet and that makes me think its because its not related. In terms of predicting where we will be on friday, from a betting perspective, i would assess as of this morning, all outcomes about equally likely. The longer there is no announcement, the more likely it will be Pardew or worse.

Dear me, nobody mentioned by the current regime. I know that, but I did. Therefore it highlights the fact that the current owner has now had 3 managers (plus various caretakers) and not one of them has been backed financially. In the case of Keegan this was the owner reneging on the promise made when he was given the job. If you can't see the relevance of that to how things will play out with any future boss then I'm wasting my time here. Arguably only one of them was ever going to be backed financially. I dont think you can completely rule out e.g. him bringing in Jol and signing Keane from Spurs, he brought in 4 decent players over the summer and handed out improved contracts to the performing players. None of which was predicted. It'll be Pardew now i've said that.
-
The only way back from this if is he has someone lined up with a promise of cash in January. I couldnt disagree with this decision more but if he has lined up spending, then you can forgive him for saying he wants to give money to someone he has more faith in. How laughably unlikely is that though. If he appoints Pardew or someone of his ilk and it starts to fail, it wont be a shit storm, it will be a horizontal blizzard.
-
Why would they complain about him not being showbusiness enough and then for milking the crowd? Just Bird doing his job i suppose.
-
He loved his Moroccan wood, polished it off very quickly.

I got a reply off Richard Bevan to a mail i sent earlier today, saying he would pass it on to Chris. I did it from my work email and made it quite formal sounding and copied in his admin. Basically saying thanks for stuff on and off the pitch, should be considered that a high performing manager has been sacked without justification, wanted him to be clear that the majority of fans were behind him and asking him to pass on our gratitude if he has any dealings with him (was before i heard Hughton had asked them to get involved). He thanked me and said he would pass it on to him.

Who do you want as the next manager of NUFC?
ChezGiven replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Can we even rule him out with ashley in charge! Were you in Frankie and Bennys on Saturday btw? Urinating in the foyer? On CCTV again no doubt too, like some incontinent thief off crimestoppers. -
Man of the people Parky reading the public mood like Blair in his pomp tbh.
