  1. Spurs v Chelsea has been a fuckin joy to watch for 45 mins 😃
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/dec/08/who-are-the-syrian-rebels-who-have-captured-damascus-explained-in-30-seconds?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=bluesky&CMP=bsky_gu
  3. Yeah I remember a (rare) Mike Ashley interview where he said something along the lines of ā€œif I drop 5/10 mill on a project I expect to see pretty much immediate improvementā€ it was when Pardew was manager I think. Ratcliffe may well turn out to be Ashley in overalls
  4. Has the ā€œnew Joseā€ took one look and given him the old šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  5. Maybe he’s gone to Russia who he was mates with but look a bit distracted nowadays so they can’t really help him out much when he decides to murder his own citizens. Mind, when I see the phrase ā€œSyrian rebelsā€ it sends a shudder down my spine…are these cunts back?

  7. That’s still not as bad as when you called me a cunt 14 times in one post
  8. Speak for yourself… what size are your balls now?
  9. Can we suggest that Tonali’s halo has now slipped since he gave the ball away for that last goal? Bruno MIA again… 4 defensive mistakes, 4 goals. Fuckin rubbish .
  10. Barnes… fuckin hell man this is just basic stuff…
  11. Deflection off Fab…poor from Hall though..
  12. @Dr Gloom I certainly don’t mean you, I meant the cunts on social media who I’ve been reading. I cant help but think they learned everything they know about football from a computer simulation of the game…
  13. People completely unqualified to comment only trust Howe when he makes a decision they agree with
  14. Having not seen them (we did Great Expectations twice at school, put me off Dickens for life) I can’t really talk with authority but I think the last two issue a heartwarming message for mankind at the end? That is in essence what, as far I can make out, Christmas is about; the birth of hope. Not that I’m in anyway religious but I can sort of get on board with that, but when in reality the whole thing for my entire life has been an ever increasing and now completely suffocating exercise in commercial and retail bullshit I can’t really reconcile the two. I don’t really want sermons or selfish consumerism. That sounds like I don’t like Christmas which isn’t really the case , I just want the version I can pretty much get with my family as it is . Which probably isn’t much different to most on here, just without the schmaltzy fuckin films ā˜ŗļø
  15. Not really I think the trouble is eg in this list I’ve not seen any of them apart from Die Hard, and that’s a film set at Christmas about a terrorist incident šŸ¤“ I’m just not motivated to watch anything festive. I can’t remember the last time I watched Christmas Day tv. There’s too much to do and by the time I sit down I’m pissed and usually fall asleep with a glass of Croft Original in my hand, mostly gibbering on like this EDIT: I like The Snowman and the Snow dog. Are they Christmas films?… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  16. I don’t have a favourite Christmas film. They’re all exploitative manipulative vomit inducing vessels of warm shit
  17. And for those who were too young/can’t remember/not born yet THERE WAS A WORLD CUP THAT SUMMER! šŸ˜€ There was so much to watch and listen to… the music from Grease and SNF seemed to be everywhere, my sister played the arse off both soundtracks to the extent I still know every lyric by heart to every song from Grease ā˜ŗļø No one at school had seen a World Cup before, and no one had seen posters like this popping up all over the place, we just lost our fuckin shit completely what a time to be alive…
