  1. Fuckin hell they're all in that Tooner! Little Steven ended up in The Sopranos, played Tony's advisor... Got to have a bit of this too http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lCZKZILvE70 Even I was still at school when this came out... Nelson running round like a loon in a Springbok jersey after SA won the rugby World Cup always made me smile too RIP.
  2. So paying less to the exchequer is a good thing now? Is this know as the 'Amazon effect"? How many are part time jobs or on zero hours contracts? "Uni for all but the stupidest" was Blairs mantra, no surprise you or Tory party HQ can't see the irony or the pointlessness in providing degrees but no jobs at that level unless the phrase "do you want fries with that?" figures highly. Hope your well mate
  3. Well yeah, I've no problem with this place as the balance is a lot better between assessing an individual game and what patterns can be established over a season or 3. And this place doesn't remind me of "lord of the flies" neither, fuckin NO does.
  4. That's a bit contradictory though... Why waste time having a go at the weak, limited and ineffectual manager when as long as were midtable he's no chance of getting the sack? By all means post what you like if it makes you feel better, but we all know the root cause of the issues at the club and he's going nowhere. NO has a near 30k thread on Pardew, the Ashley thread had about a quarter of that number of posts. Should be the other way around iyam.
  5. That place is basically a coven of the worlds worst cunts. "I HATE PARDEW MORE THAN YOU DO, NO HONESTLY I DO!!!!!" That doesn't include Parky & HF, voices of sanity on there Seen worse than last night, seen better. Under the current regime were a midtable side at best, NO know this but can't accept that nothing will change until there's change at the top. Hating Pardew is childishly stupid and misses the point by a galactic mile.
  6. Fuck all in reserve when Shola and Remy seize up after an hour or so....if you think our second half displays have been defensive recently then I fear "you ain't seen nothing yet"
  7. Id be questioning who decided to spend all the Bale money at once. We all know integrating foreign players takes time.
  8. 1156 PREMIER LEAGUE HEAD-TO-HEAD Swansea v Newcastle (19:45 GMT) Swansea and Newcastle have only met four times in the top flight, with Swansea winning two to Newcastle's one victory. Only one of Swansea's four league wins this season has come at the Liberty Stadium but they have scored more goals (17) than any other side in the bottom half of the table. Swansea have not lost this season when scoring first - picking up four wins and a draw. However they have failed to win any of the seven matches in which they conceded the opening goal
  9. Trousers?...I thought it was her eczema playing up...
  10. Brian Robson/chronicle circa 85-93
  11. Agreed. But that goes for the whole England squad tbh. Posession is the name of the game in international football. He's very good at keeping it.
  12. Re Garth Crooks....there was a Lfc fan at work today who said Tom Huddlestone didn't give Gerrard a kick yesterday...I'd take him to Brazil..one of the few players in this country who treasures possession..
  13. The thing that complicates this is Amazon isn't operating as another retailer/manufacturer, they're acting as a host. They don't make cosmetics, your model works perfectly if you say Lush and Bodyshop, as they're both in the same game. Amazon is operating as a middle man, and the internet is still a pretty new tool with principles that are up in the air such as this.
  14. why can't they just direct them to the lush website?... I understand that's not how business on the internet works, but it doesn't mean lush aren't right to try to change it. Lush are run from a couple of smallish units on an industrial estate, have you seen one of Amazons "fulfillment centres" where you get £8 an hour on nightshift for walking 11 miles round and round during your shift like a fuckin drone?....wait a minute... :/
  15. Fuckin sky need their eyes testing...it was Sissoko iyam...one of his best performances for us even without the goal, although Brunt was allowed an unchallenged run on his side for their goal..
  16. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/526493/20131201/lush-high-court-challenge-copyright-infringement-amazon.htm Lush HQ less than 100 yards from our flat, all power to them
  17. Sounds a class weekend CT Apart from 80 quid paid to the tosspots at ATS who wouldn't even consider that driving over catseyes shouldn't cause a puncture in a tyre fitted only 6 weeks ago, I had a belter too...
  18. Hull City would have to exist at a lower level, but theyd still be Hull City. Football clubs weren't created to be advertising hoardings for millionaires, they were formed to represent communities. The sooner everyone grasps this the better, supporters included. This is pretty much "shutting the door after the horse has bolted" by about 25 years, but when the actual historical identity of clubs is being ditched in favour of cold hard cash then perhaps the Hull fans have decided that a belated line needs to be drawn.
  19. No more permanent nights? Good times!
  20. Did you actually get kicked out of the match yesterday?....
  21. And that just about sums up the vast majority of those in the US that I've come across. They are lovely people mostly, very "folksy" and "homely" but question anything about their way of life and you're the devil incarnate. My sister in law isn't like that, she lived in Vegas and Lake Tahoe as a kid and had nowt to do with guns or religion so she's fairly well balanced. But you're right, I was asked what I was thankful for after I'd finished my "green bean casserole with sweet marshmellows and pineapple" / which accompanied my turkey and sweet potatoes... I said I was thankful for having Newcastle United in my life
  22. Don't know if you or njs/hmhm (among others of a certain age) have read this, good crack , from hmhm's end of town... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005GGAOFO/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?keywords=Byker%20Books&qid=1384598843&ref_=sr_1_11&s=digital-text&sr=1-11
  23. Fuming....Sat at side of the road in east Devon with a puncture....just had a "heated debate" with some clown from greenflag who wants me to be picked up and driven half an hour in the opposite direction, have the puncture fixed and then drive back here, when my insurers direct line had already told me I can be recovered tonight back home, then get picked up tomorrow by another truck from home and get taken to a garage of my choice. This is far more convenient as I am en route to my American sister in laws for thanksgiving,Turkey, pumpkin, pecan etc etc... Cheeky tosser, I had to put it in quite plain terms in the end...
  24. Good post that....another thing that stopped a full invasion was apparently the amount of naval hardware we had sat in the North Sea....several "salty sea dogs" who I've worked with in shipbuilding will tell you an invasion fleet would have struggled to make it beyond Dogger Bank....
  25. The Star appear to be sourcing their stories from SD news
