  1. Does giffgaff work abroad?.....am away for most of next year and am thinking I'll need to get a different sim/number for each major country am visiting...?
  2. Am thinking Micheal McIntyre in a black turtle neck
  3. Err... http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/oct/05/sun-tory-tax-credit-cuts-wrong-osborne-conference?CMP=fb_gu
  4. Yeah but you sit in front of some NASA enabled virus infecting super mainframe muthafucker all day, not a pissy HP pavillion or you copied the url "longhand" which I tried and failed abusmally to do?
  5. Its not me its the Mirror site...it automatically cuts the url down to that when I try to copy it....bizarre..now, can I have an apology for being accused of being an (even bigger) IT moron?
  6. “But they can all come and knock on my door on Monday and ask for more money. Saying, ‘I want Yohan’s money’ and they’ll get a simple answer, ‘You’re not as good as him’. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/
  7. George, mate, just fuck off will you? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/george-osborne-went-to-an-nwa-concert-and-says-it-was-his-favourite-ever-conservative-chancellor-a6678806.html Now am not claiming to be an expert here but I don't think NWA played any UK gigs?.... EDIT: I stand corrected... http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/eazye-and-mc-ren-brixton-academy-london-uk-1991-news-photo/558236809
  8. Naah they thought it was appropriate to break into it when the first black player of the 20th century scored three tries in a game
  9. The history of SLSC being sang at rugby matches is quite interesting.... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Oti
  10. Tbf, if England took Scotland's place in group B they'd have qualified. Rank stupidity doing the draw based on rankings two years back. The organisers only have themselves to blame for the host country falling flat on their faces which is never really good for any tournament of this nature. However, it was fucking hilarious last night in a boozer watching dozens of young dandies singing odes to God and the queen, followed by stirring renditions of negro spiritual hymns, then stand there and watch them trying to work out what the fuck was happening on the pitch. A ridiculous bunch of fuckin wankers.
  11. On a positive note that's our third goal away from home since February......way to go lads
  12. Looks like a passable 433 to me, but as hes not played it up till now am not sure if that makes it less or more likely he'll give it a go away from home against a champions league side?? CITY Hart, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernando, Fernandinho, Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, Aguero No Kompany or Toure, and the centre backs are pretty much still learning this league. The front four however look petrifying. To me anyway.
  13. Alnwick mags with Colbacks replacement earlier at a some service station on the M6 this morning
  14. Obama isn't quite so teary when it comes to mass killing sprees in other countries mind
  15. About a month ago we got a new apprentice at work, born in 1997...called, and I'm not making this up, Joe Jordan (ask your grandad Haydanator) and of all things he's a fuckin Crystal Palace season ticket holder...he thinks Pardew is some sort of deity, a divine all seeing font of wisdom. Pardew is literally the best thing to happen to that club since the Wright/Bright FA cup final era 25 years ago. He'll unravel soon iyam, his press conference on Thursday was a classic, a whole list of err "achievements" by Pulis at West Brom; "they've kept 20 clean sheets in 25 games" etc etc...the man is a fuckin poltroon, but has had the role of some sort of redeemer conferred on him by the city of Croydon. Bizarre.
  16. Is this a case of "well they would say that wouldn't they?" from the US?... http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/30/russia-launches-first-airstrikes-against-targets-in-syria-says-us
  17. Anyone remember Salem's Lot from the telly in the 70s?....David Soul was in it, think it was a adaptation of a Stephen King book? Carrie was pretty scary too as it goes, and I wouldn't say I was scared but the film of IT was pretty bloody disturbing as an adult..
  18. Yeah Faye fell out with Keegan affair so that makes him an Ashley era player...the old boy sat behind me back then used to say "eeee he's a big strong lad!" every time he monstered some waif like attacker, which was surprisingly often as you imply. "balanced"
  19. Guilty as charged however... Zanetti there conferring sainthood on the fucker before half time That's just emabarrasing for a man in his forties Doc, have a word with yourself. Not to mention the fist-fest that the Fish posted...I just don't want anyone to get into a CT/Shane situation. You all know I'm right
  20. Impressive at the weekend but so was Haidara in his first few games, particularly in Kharkiv. Mbabu's proved nothing apart from being able to handle a one off game. So let's chill the fuck out.
  21. The Fish is 2/1 for me with Alex 2nd favourite at 3s
  22. I think you've just invented a new game.."which TT poster would be most likely to...." I think society in general is a bit less mature and serious than it used to be. "50 is the new 40" etc etc. My very-soon-to-be 80 year old father has always said the biggest change in society in his lifetime came in the late 70s via the twin evils of Thatcher and punk rock. He says that was the moment when the "cult of the individual" was born and people stopped giving a fuck about what anyone thought of them. And you've got to be a monumentally conceited cockwomble to imagine that charging a few quid for a bowl of fuckin Golden Graham's isn't going to bring some sort of divine judgement down on you.
  23. Now, I don't want to condone wonton violence against hipsters, but looking at the clip of these two fuckin wankers I'm thinking they've got the sort of appearance that just invites physical aggression...as for their err "business"... http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/sep/27/shoreditch-cereal-cafe-targeted-by-anti-gentrification-protesters
  24. This has crossed my mind more than once lately.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11891430/The-north-is-being-cut-adrift-in-English-football-and-I-fear-the-damage-may-be-permanent.html He's talking about a few different things here but I think the chief one is wages. There again if Boro were still in the premier league and willing to pay absolutely top wages (as Gibson did in the 90s) could they still attract the likes of Ravanelli and Juninho?...Leeds were different, as were we, because we and they borrowed all the loot used to finance a few years of top quality football. Complaining about lack of atmosphere at the likes of Turf Moor though is more to do with the decline in atmosphere across the board due to stadiums being all seater, regardless of the noise a few twats with a drum can create at Selhurst Park.
  25. Ali G..... didn't he say to some raging bigot that an Orangeman was a greengrocer too?
