Good campaign by the Guardian tbh, pity all they've got to show for it is a rise of to 15p to the bare minimum wage for the lowest paid agency staff aged 21-25. The real damage to Ashley is the 400mill he lost when his share price went down due to all this bad PR and public exposure. It'll go back up again though, and the massive bonuses he gives his middle managers to keep the poor sods who actually do all the graft in line (on zero hours contracts) stay in place. The new "living wage" outside London is due In April meaning a rise of 35p an hour to £7-20. Not sure if there's any plans to for SD to start paying that and it's certainly not mentioned in the ridiculous fuckin puff piece that the Mirror have done with him this morning. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/dec/31/mike-ashley-10m-pay-all-sports-direct-staff-above-minimum-wage?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

I remember what ended Gordon Brown's brief "honeymoon" period; similar scenes in the south of England ( the Severn valley, the river Cuck in Sussex, the Wey in Surrey) when the Tory media annihilated him and he never really recovered. The daily mail's lead story yesterday was actor Michael Sheen having the temerity to suggest that calls for the foreign aid budget to be slashed and diverted to flood areas in the UK were misguided.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3377219/Flood-victims-slam-luvvie-actor-Michael-Sheen-saying-sick-hearing-calls-Britain-s-12-billion-foreign-aid-spent-UK-weather-defences.html The Daily Mail, distracting the fuckwit masses since 1896

We've had a change of badge before, but not on these particular grounds. And we've had the present one for over a quarter of a century, bar the change from stitching to an iron-on print. If this goes ahead and coincides with a second relegation in 6 seasons it might finally be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Quite possibly not thought Just thinking this may have been the same reason for the change from the City coat of arms badge we had up till the early 80s to the circular "NUFC" emblem we had till 1989?

Huge influence on Mettalica and all who came after them in the 80s, also massive collector of nazi memorabilia. Most fondly remembered round our way for this little cameo RIP

Everton have got their best team in decades but are mid table in a piss poor league this season because their beautifully spoken and media friendly manager is about as good as Pardew, but gets good press due to being good at interviews. We don't know what sort of team will turn up for any given game, were the scizophrenics of the league. We're in with a good chance of getting a result iyam, they're often less than the sum of their parts, we can be more.Sometimes

The Europa League that he publicly stated was a threat to our premier league status, and which he appeared to be physically releived to be removed from at the very next press conference after our exit? You couldn't make this fucker up if you tried- 10610 replies

Seeing as he blamed us for dropping points at home by having the temerity to actually vocalise our support for the players, how the fuck were we supposed to act at any point? As for taking notice of social media, for a man in his position that's the sign of fuckin weakling.- 10610 replies

To me her appears to be a classic "on the batter" type, months of sobriety (I've see him once or twice as he lives down the road, apparently sober) then just gets on it from time to time.

Terrible news, hopefully he'll be ok.
