  1. Not in Newcastle/Gateshead but in Washington Divan Khanah is probably the best Indian takeaway 'round here / recommendable.
  2. Aye but that was, Premierleague (Top div), a 5-0 win over them, and against Man Utd! So you conceed it was a club cashing in on the fact that they beat their nearest rivals at home when they weren't expected to? No different really - cringeworthy, aye but we're hardly ones to talk.. They got 3pts, not chasing the PL title in a crunch game. I know we cashed in on it via a VHS, but Blackpool's game was a 2-1 win, they got 3pts fair do's and weren't expected to win, but it's cringeworthy that 2 clubs have brought out DVD's just because they beat us when we're being told via the media and other fans that we're a 'nothing/small' club, and that we're deluded, then other clubs bring out DVD's on a win.

  4. Was looking on play.com for Newcastle books, when I came across another classic from another club. It was Peterborough with 'Blue Brazil', and now Blackpool... http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/11857588/Ta...-1/Product.html

    Swansea game

Watch out for Swansea youth coming out of the mini-bus lads! Actually, they drink through and don't go to game's, ahh you's be alreet then..
  6. It was the processing period, but It's general sale from today.
  7. I heard Wigan took 300 fans to Spurs, yet it says they were followed with a 'large' backing in the arcticle.
  8. Tbf to Ameobi (I know!) but didn't he score 5 goals in 4 games or something like that before he got injured? Hate to say it, but at this level, he is our goalscorer. Carroll has 4 goals to his name, and Nolan, our obvious top scorer with 9. Aslong as we keep the way we're playing with away games, aka still getting points and playing the football at home, then I'm sure it won't, or shouldn't be a problem for the 2nd half of the season. Unless of course Ashley dismantles this team apart in Jan because of offers from other clubs.
  9. Anyone going? Obafem and Ameobi up-front. Will tore defences apart.
  10. maybe you were expecting too much? dont forget, he's been out of contract for a while now so his fitness levels will be pretty crap. in that case you have to judge players on touch/passing/vision. in those areas i thought he looked pretty good. won quite a few headers against a canny BIG back line as well. Aye, don't get me wrong, I think he'd probably be decent enough as cover and if we sign him on a short-term / end of season type of contract. I just didn't think he did enough, but I maybe/probably was looking for too much, like you say. Oh well, hope he proves me wrong now if we sign him up.
  11. I just thought he was average, yet other people seem to disagree.
  12. aye, how did you know ? I used to go there, and after I left Oxy, to the gym.
  13. I think I'd if we got Mourinho as our manager. Realistically it won't happen, but I'd like to dream it could.
  14. "If this was Swansea, we'd know away fans walking about the streets..." 2mins later, they got ambushed.
  15. Toon Yoof will have them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SC_tdfDyoY
  16. £4mil for R. Taylor??? I thought he was included in the N'Zogbia deal...
  17. Should be fine if he's up here for 3-4 days, all dependant on when I s'pose. Would be gutted if he left on monday and that's when it got re-arranged to.

    Scary...

Ne wonder he complained if that's what she looked like. But on a side note.. Washington!
  19. I'm behind the idea, It's just a shame that I don't even have a pension scheme yet, or £1500/£2500.

    Larndan

The last time I was there was for a Business trip through the college. We went for about 3-4 days and I enjoyed it, although it wasn't that long, I thought it was good. I have to say though, Paris is better, I loved Paris, although I've only been to both 2-3 times. (Outside of football)
