i don't think emre's world class but i'd say he's a far better player in midfield than smudger smith. smith would be a half decent sub as a striker but i don't rate him in midfield at all. he's a bit of a liability in the middle of the park and his goals to games ratio doesn't doesn't stack up enough to warrant spending £6m on him as a striker imo. More of a liability than Emre? I know which I'd rather have. Only because you predicted we were going to sign Smith about a million years ago.
