Already tried the first one Laz, uninstalled it and let Windows install it, then tried installed the Dell specific drivers, then the Broadcom drivers, then uninstalled it again. Unfortunately, neither Dell or Broadcom do a specific Windows 7 driver. The second option's a non starter as I can't get online to use Windows Update. Do you have any vista drivers? if so - try them in each of the compatability modes. Manage to get it sorted. Basically I was being a twat and instead of trying the simple things (like bypassing my ZyXel homeplug adapters!) I was looking for the complex solution. Cheers for the help anyway Laz.

Stuck RC1 on a Dell machine I grabbed from work and the bastard thing won't connect to my network! Spent all night Googling but found nothing of any use, lots of people have reported similar problems (with Vista too apparently). The O/S sees the network card but just doesn't want to connect. I've tried giving it a static IP too but still nothing. Anyone else come across this issue (and managed to fix it)?

That should be handled by the laptop and/or LCD screen. I've got my laptop (Sony Vaio ) connected to my plasma (Pioneer 50" ) with a bog standard VGA cable.

Do you have DVI output on your laptop or DVI input on your LCD screen? Do you have VGA output on your laptop or VGA input on your LCD screen? If the answer to both these questions is yes, then yes.

Perhaps I should have added a <CTRL+END> and check that the row number matches the amount of tunes you've got in iTunes.

my laptop only has two slots and they both have a 512mb in does your motherboard accept 2gb sticks? yes, as far as I know... Go buy two of them then. As previously mentioned your OS will only utilise 3.5GB, but what's 512MB between friends!

this isn't for me. How do you pay for these tracks ? Set up an account then buy as much credit as you want (think it goes up in increments of $10) and just top it up as and when required. Simples.

When I'm being a good boy, I use gomusic.ru as the tracks are dead cheap (15cents each) and 10% off when buying an album. Otherwise I'll search Rapidshare, MegaUpload et al. I only occasionally use iTunes for tracks as they're too expensive. You can only use tracks downloaded from iTunes on iPods as they're in M4P format and iTunes won't let you convert them due to file protection.

That's outrageous! eBay wouldn't allow me specify postage for the items I recently sold!
