Fact, every single player we have playing for us is inconsistent at best. for my money we need better players in every single position on the park if we are to get in the champions league in my opinion. also every single one needs better motivation, because a lot of performances this season have been by unmotivated players. i will say the zog has been the player i rate highest so far this season, alongside milner (who never gives up).... the rest need a rocket...

in my opinion the best defender i've ever seen. plays the game simply and frighteningly effective (in his peak) in any of the 4 back positions ( centre back, sweeper full back and even wing back ( when playing for italy)).

in the last week there has been a change. we are passing it more effectively around the back 4 and midfield when we want to keep the ball in defensive areas. what is missing however (and this is despite all of our players trying their socks off) is quality delivery int the box. with the current squad, that won't change....

if we can get him anelka huntelaar might be a bit expensive.

nice responses so far (sic), but even i m struggling to find justification for a once great player who can't stay fit for a run of games. such a shame really as he was the player we needed but can't put it together for any period of time anymore... when he comes back from ijury hopefully he can prove my sentiments wrong. i doubt it however....

what ewerk said. both would be easily good enough for the championship.

he's a bit slow at full back or wing back however. great delivery though and guaranteed a couple of flukey goals a season.
