  1. Take off those rose-tinted specs you wankers, the best team lost. Huddersfield were dominant throughout. We were hardly ever in their half. High marks for an epic defensive display, especially by Ritchie. Zero marks for an offensive display that never materialized, even though we scored three times. Demerits to Rafa for starting Anita at full-back, wor lass could have done better than that no pace lightweight. Did Diame accomplish owt? Anita and Dummett didn't do much to stop their wide players from causing havoc. Extremely happy to get 3 points even though I don't think we deserved them.
  2. Gayle should get the wind up now, his top of the scoring league of 20 goals has just been surpassed by Woods of Leeds with 22.
  3. For those............ As far as I can see the match is online courtesy of beIN Sports Connect. Doesn't seem to be on the telly as yet.
  4. It would be remiss of me if I didn't fault Rafa for summat, and this time it is for his playing of Goofy at centre-forward. He contributed little or nothing to that position and certainly fluffed a one on one with the keeper opportunity. Thing that has bothered me for quite a while is the number of back-passes, lateral passes, back to the keeper passes, that we overdo and aren't necessary, and sometimes get a little scary. Atsu was good today, but he did keep beating himself with his trickery. Great pass to Perez. Not often you see someone immobile, rooted to the spot, foot never moving, score a goal, but we did in Diame!!
  5. Will give my synopsis when I recover from my heart problem which was brought on by that fucking unbelievable win. The candles I lit at the Catholic church, the prayers I said at the Synagogue, and the loitering I did around the Mosque, must have had some effect.
  6. Surprise-surprise, can't believe Gouffran starting as centre-forward ahead of Nitro, Murphy, even Perez. Don't see him winning any high balls from crosses, corners, or long balls. If we win with that line-up it will be down to Rafa the miracle worker.
  7. I honestly think we'll lose, but desperately hope I'm wrong. In our more recent games we've been less than convincing even when we won. Will Rafa's starting line-up be surprising or predictable, we'll know soon enough. Fingers crossed everyone will show-up at the kick-off and not have an under-performing first half which seems to be par for the course of late.
  8. For those who............... Brighton match on Tuesday is to be shown on ....... beIN sports Channel, and online via beIN Sports Connect.
  9. Watched the Brighton v Reading game today and we should be really worried about Tuesday. Can't say they were spectacular but they put on a decent performance IN EACH HALF and played good football. They are on top and they have closed the goal difference.
  10. It appears that our first goal is listed as an own goal and not by Shelvey.
  11. Close........but no miracle. Why is it we seem to have a rubbish first half so often?
  12. Is a miracle gonna happen? Is God on our side? Will Jesus weep?
  13. Bristol are 4th bottom and they're beating us 2 nowt at St. James. It speaks for itself. I just hope there is a miracle lurking in the shadows.
  14. We lose this one I think we can kiss automatic promotion goodbye!!
  15. If I was Rafa I would rest Ritchie as he's on 9 yellow cards facing a 2 match ban if he gets 10. If he gets one today he'll miss 2 crucial games.
  16. I'm happy with the 3 points but I'm not happy with the way we get them and haven't been for a long time. We don't look anything like a Premiership team and we should with the amount of players on the pitch who have played in that level before. I'm beginning to have doubts about Rafa's capability of getting the team to play some good football on a regular basis. Against Villa in the first half we were fucking dismal and never looked like we could win the game. Second half we were better but never really looked like a promotion winning team. Gouffran brings nothing to the game even though he did score. Shelvey needs whipping for his inconsistency and wayward passes, and his miserable demeanor. Diame is up and down like a Woolworths yo-yo in his consistency. Lascells is still dodgy and has not impressed me as a Premiership stopper whereas Mbemba has. I could go on but I won't.
  17. Looney Toony, ta fer yer valuable advice..........aa divvint knaa aboot 2 nowt tho.
  18. Thank you Trooper, seems like DK was correct.
  19. David Kelly says Hayden is out for 4 weeks but how can that be? He was on the bench at Norwich.
  20. Can't say I'm too happy with a point when it should have been 3. You could say that Lascells cleaned his plate by scoring, but Darlow!! Seems like it should have been a win with all the chances we had.
