  1. For the un-informed. The match is being shown online today courtesy of "beIN Sports Connect" at 11:30am California time.
  2. OK Mr. David Kelly, I missed an e in Hanl y, I used an o instead of an e in Hayd n, but I did not make a mistake with Nitrovic, the n was a deliberate play on NITRO. And sometimes it's my keyboard that spulls incorrectly, no me so there.
  3. Here's my idea for the line-up against PNE. What d' ye think? Cels Yedlin Mbemba Hanly Lazaar Ritchie Shelvey Haydon Atsu Nitrovic Perez
  4. Gayle force wanes. Ayzone layer thickens. Must admit to a feeling of relief when we got the second goal. I was thinking we might just leak a goal and drop 2 points. HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN.
  5. I see that Siem DeJong played for 90 minutes in a Europa league game the other day. Despite his injuries etc, I always felt he was never utilized enough when he was healthy. When fit he's obviously a good player.
  6. Happy with the 3 points. Happy being at the top. But not overly happy that Rafa is consistently playing Diame, Anita, and Dummett, and not giving Yedlin, Lazaar, and Nitrovic, a decent chance to show their worth. Noticed Hanly wasn't on the bench, he played on Saturday, is he injured? Also noticed Mbemba wasn't on the bench, is he that low on the pecking order? I think he was looking to be a great signing.
  7. Let's get real, his big problem is inconsistency and rashness, be it premiership or championship. If he, with Rafa's help can erase those factors then I think we will have a jewel in Jonjo.
  8. Happy with the win. Not happy with leaking a goal. Happy-happy-happy. Not happy with no TV or streams. Happy to assess the game but I can't do that cos I haven't seen it. Not too happy with Newcastle Radio commentators.
  9. Cos I don't think he's that good even if he's scored a few goals.
  10. I'd like to see................ If Rafa's gonnna rotate.........then rotate!! Darlow Yedlin Hanly Clark Lazaar Ritchie Shelvey Haydon Atsu Perez Mitrovic
  11. England were so woeful and shambolic it was like watching Newcastle's many woeful performances last season. If it hadn't been for Joe Hart there would have been no point, and the point wasn't deserved.
  12. Don't understand why Rafa took Atsu off as he had been a constant threat to Rotheram's defense. He should have taken Gayle off earlier, for the most part he was pretty much anonymous after his Norwich hat-trick performance. Anita doesn't have the attacking force that Yedlin does.
  13. Thank God that is over!! As the 2nd half went on it had all the looks that we would concede a goal, maybe even 2. Nearly had another stroke when I saw 5 minutes stoppage time.
  14. As expected by some, this is not an easy game so far, they have given us some trouble. Atsu is looking very good great goal.
  15. For those certain people: beIN Sports Connect ....... Menu is showing the match will be broadcast on their online network, channel 4, starting at 6:45 am, California time.
  16. Just got back from the hospital after having my stroke, the head nurse was very accommodating. I think I need more strokes though!! Full credit to Gayle for netting a hat-trick but let's not forget his number of misses. He and Diame could both have easily got us 3 points against Villa. I wonder how long Rafa will persevere with Diame's poor performances?
  17. I won't be making comments as yet, I'm off to the hospital as I think I've had a massive stroke ...................................of good luck and I can't cope with it.
  18. My sympathy is for the England team, certainly not for money grubbing fat Sam who I thought was a mistake in the first place when he as chosen. No sympathy for the jerks who selected him for the job, of course they couldn't know the lengths he would go to fill his pockets. Credit to fat Sam for setting the 67 day record. I wonder if Sam copied our 'Arry and has an account in his dog's name.
