England were shite. Mexico looked better than us. They should have had a penalty when King pulled a Mexican shirt in the box. Crouch's goal went in off his arm. Johnson's goal was a cracker. Milner was out of position and it showed, Carrick was awful. Mexico's goal was the result of a crappy defense. Fair credit to Mexico, they looked decent, passed well but lacked the goals. The score flattered England, England were shite, Capello had better do better.

We have brilliant support. We have a good stadium. We are in the Premier League. We have a canny toon in Newcastle. But is this enough to attract on loan players or out of contract players if we can't meet the wages they are used to and they're not prepared to take a cut?

I agree, I think he is very wrong. The nucleus of players we have are the ones who contributed to our downfall. The influx of new players are not the same quality of the ones who left the sunken ship. Simpson is nowhere near tha standard of Beye. Williamson is questionable in regards to Bassong. Best hasn't come even close to Martins. Routledge might be a winner in regards to Duff or Milner. Without additional quality players I honestly can't see us staying up with what we have.......but I'd like to think so.
