If this is what we've been reduced to by Souness then hes got a lot more to answer for than I thought.

As we enter yet another period of Toon uncertainty heres my thoughts on the next 2 years. Its now looking like a distinct possibility that Souness will go in the next few days to a week or so and instead of having a successor lined up we would have to go scrabbling around for some other nacker who nobody else wants. Having the forethought and insight that our Freddy has he'll decide to announce Glenn Roeder as caretaker until the end of the season. Okay then, no great prediction there, we all know its a big possibility but heres where we'll fall down. Glenn will come in, make a few basic changes and may even actually start getting a game plan and use those tactic things (not the little 2 calorie mints that you shake at people). We'll start winning a few games and end up shifting up the table, make a late push for Europe and possibly even scrape that 6th place. Bad move! Freddy will start to think that we're on the up and Glenns a canny manager, decides its less hassle, cost and upheaval than bringing in a new bloke and then gives him a 2 year contract. 12 months further down the line and we'll be sitting here slagging him off, cursing the fact we cant beat some tuppence ha'penny reserve team and having to go searching again for a successor. haway then you lot, Ive got a loan of a USB lead (will be in touch though Fish) and have reset it for Windows, the trial version of Anapod sees the ipod and allows me to tranfer files but cos its trial only allows one at a time. ITunes however has the Update iPod option greyed out as if no pod is connected. Any thoughts?
