Never mind 'bite', how about adding some talent? Diarra isn't talented? I don't really know, I haven't seen much of him, but I wasn't talking about him. What I meant is that we have plenty of bite, it's just that we have no talent and creativity. It was a dig at the journalist's choice of words.

But hey, he always gives 100 percent and gets stuck in, so he will always be good enough for some people. There's more to his game than that mate. He links midfield and attack well when he plays upfront and his workrate there shouldn't be underestimated imo. I did say when he signed though that he was probably (or should be) 4th choice striker, which makes him pretty expensive. Agree about him in midfield. It's not his fault he's being played in midfield, I know that. And to be fair to him, he seems like a top professional in that he's never once complained about not being played up front.

aye, the "make sure we stop them playing first" approach is a sure fire loser. But against equal or inferior sides, it's a hopeless approach.
