I had a pair of AKG-Rox phones, but bust them one day by trodding on the lead, and it cracked the join at the ear. They were great phones, the sound was great, and they were comfortable to wear for a long time. So I bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT75. They are OK, but I have never liked them as much as the AKG's. They are also semi open/closed..it wasn't a mistake, I just didn't think they would be quite so annoying, so I want a pair like the AKG's and closed. I'll pay a bit more for ones that are worth it, but cheers for the replies lads.

Good mate of mine successfully stopped. Another one takes some sort of pills which he says helps him to stay stopped..he stopped once, but went back. My missus stopped, started again, now stopped again. I never lecture anyone who smokes, although I would rather they didn't. I don't pretend I know how hard it must be to stop, because I don't. PP...you have my sympathy if you are finding it difficult to stop smoking. One of the best things I ever did, was not to start smoking, but in my teens my mates didn't either.

any recommendations for a closed pair of headphones...about 50-60 quid, for me. For rock music mostly. I want a new set.

So are you saying that there was only one black person in the crowd yesterday? did you count them? so nobody was sitting beside you or in your line of vision? so what? it means nothing and even if there was none, that doesnt say we're racist, it says that on that day no black people wanted to go watch the toon.
