  1. I never liked Jack Charlton when he was our manager but I saw a quote from him relatively recently where he said there was only one team apart from England that he got out of his seat for and that was Newcastle. Compare and contrast with his pure manc cunt of a brother. I didn't see it live as I was at the match but I've seen the recording of Bruce as a pundit for the 99 final being asked who he wanted to win and replying "United - that's Man United" - two capital crimes in one sentence of four words.
  2. Was going to say that Could mention Wiz and Pal but I don't think they were victims of anything, ever
  3. When he invites Farage into the cabinet?
  4. That Swinson says she'll do everything she can to stop brexit but wont form a coalition with Labour or the SNP. How will that work then?
  5. Leave twat on the next desk to me was spouting this morning about it'll all blow over after a few months after no deal when it "settles down" - imbecile.
  6. 12 - 15 was the previous Mackem record.
  7. Failing to read the many articles stating the cunt doesn't actually coach.
  8. The thing is these empire worshipping stupid old fuckers who hark back to wwii (but can't have lived through it) may have lived through the Suez crisis. As I understand it that was a watershed in the UK being rudely woken up as to its new place in the world when the US and the Soviet Union basically slapped it down. I think the whole thing shows history in the UK has been taught very badly for decades.
  9. I can see Derby's points record being in danger this season. It's going to get very nasty, very quickly.
  10. Somebody should point out to May before she gets on her high horse that not only did she say it she actually sent the Windrush people back.
  11. I know it was the rules but my simple view was that NZ should have won on the basis of losing fewer wickets.
  12. This is getting hilarious now - state of the club and they're going to appoint this toxic manc cunt - brilliant.
  13. Agree with b but not hopeful - there'll be too much "see, told you" and not enough (again) about what the benefits are. Given the number of people who are embracing no deal who don't even care what happens I don't think a. is a given either.
  14. A new ref will absolutely not be any different to the last one in terms of arguments and there are millions who won't accept another leave vote - just as there are now millions who wouldn't accept remain. I think it should happen but as I've said it's going to be a shit cure all either way.
  15. Further complicated by the lib dems offering nothing beyond remain as a policy - apart from only considering joining a tory coalition if Swinson wins.
  16. Doesn't change much - the concern for strong remainers will be the intention after an election if he wins - I think he would still try and do a deal which would confuse the shit out of people again. I think the problem now is that you could have a situation where the next 3 or 4 GEs contain leave/remain positions which will be untenable. You can argue another ref will setlle it all you like but the numbers are such that it's never going to die easily now.
  17. Well it's a fair point that that was on a manifesto of respecting the result. The idea of trying to unite both sides wasn't a bad one for a while after the ref but I agree that idea is dead now.
  18. What could they do apart from try and stop no deal?
  19. Further up - opposite the Tyne theatre. Looking on Google maps it's not there anymore.
  20. Broken doll was an old school rough as fuck pub and great with it. Just up from Svens there was a pub on the corner of Westgate Road called the Waterloo I think which did a roaring trade during a strike at S&N which lasted about six weeks in about 1983. I have no idea if its still there.
  21. Especially when your target audience are largely thick, racist pensioners.
  22. I can understand the reluctance to boycott games - if I still lived in the NE I'd probably be in the Renton camp but I haven't seen any suggestions of what I'd say was more feasible - boycotting the cunt's shops. I know parents will face pressure from kids for the latest strip which is tough but adults rushing to psy £65 for a strip need to have a good look at themselves - especially in the current context.
