I never forget how complicit the BBC were over Orgreave.

It's a strange one looking from the outside as 55% did vote for the union Corbyn is talking about. I know siding with the tories at the ref and being generally shit for years cost them but is there really any mileage in trying to appeal to nationalists?
-
Huge amount spent on the squad compared with all but one other team (not counting sales but that doesn't affect that imo) and the manager with the best pedigree in the division. Ashley and Charnley should be shot for not strengthening in January and Benitez has to take responsibility for the results and performances that haven't quite been there. We also have players who think they're better than they are. I do actually think we'll finish top but if we don't I'm not going to shrug it off.

Second would be ok and I'd be pleased for Hughton but it's still abject failure imo.
-
Hopefully lessons learned all round - might get away with it as Huddersfield drew.

Yeah it was about 15 on average or a bit more on occasion in Cyprus and it's only a tad higher than that in March but I know the canaries are a bit warmer outside of full summer. I love a sea splodge - S Shields thing probably. Can't be arsed with long haul at the moment.
-
Well I went to Ayia Napa in January two years ago and it was nice weather and the sea was OK for 20 minute blasts but the outdoor pool was far too cold. The indoor pool however was great.

I have a week's holiday at the end of March and fancy the Canary Islands. I went to Fuerteventura twenty years but fancy one of the other ones. Not bothered about nightlife but was wondering if anyone can recommend a nice hotel on or close to a beach - preferably with an indoor pool in case the sea's too nippy.

I suppose the question is if Cameron "knew" most tories were going to vote out and therefore was relying on labour voters to save his arse or he thought he could persuade his voters to vote remain - either way that adds to his culpability for calling the fucking thing.
-
Not necessarily but they were are mainly tory voters which can include working class of course. Chelmsford which is a safe tory seat where labour always finish third (even under Blair) voted about 60/40 out. There are areas which are working class but the majority of the town is people doing pretty well a lot of whom commute to London. There are a miniscule number of immigrants. This wasn't an anti-establishment vote it was a pure flag waving tory middle class let's get back to the 50s old people's and other racists vote. The south was full of similar results on greater actual numbers which Corbyn had absolutely fuck all to do with or could have influenced. Of course you could argue getting more labour voters out to vote remain could have swung it but imo it wouldn't have in the face of mass misdirected racism.
-
Myth. The majority of leave votes were in the south outside London.
-
It's reduced the perceived threat of ukip cutting into labour heartlands but it shows they're a million miles from winning the seats needed to get into power.

Bowie got one and he's been dead more than a year.

Rafa made remarks that he hadn't been sleeping well due do his lass's pregnancy and birth so had been sluggish in training. Risking a hamstring in those circumstances is fucking stupid. I remember all the shit with Dyer and Bellamy (and others) where bringing back someone 5 minutes before you should fucks them again - you should be 100% sure with them.
-
It had to be said, especially considering the Rafa worship, that this was Souness /Pardew levels of injury management incompetence.
-
I suppose it's our fault for missing out "supporting their team in a premier European competition they'd qualified for"

The cunts were done by a late kick off again

Plus Palace. Combined clusterfuck of 97 proportions - us CL and Mackems and Boro relegated on last day.
-
Have to say how much I enjoyed Bruce's "that's just us" mantra post match.
-
I know it could be called a style thing but I notied when that head injury break was on about 10 minutes ago, Rafa was among the players giving instructions, Bruce was just standing there looking like a cunt.
-
You did see that poll where he score unfavourably with every sector and demographic including all labour voters didn't you, Rayvin?

Only really talked to the French lad who was actually born in Cambodia but moved to France when he was a kid to escape Pol Pot! - he's been in the UK 11 years and has thought about citizenship previously but didn't want to spend the 3k it takes. He doesn't know what he's going to do now.
-
We have Dutch, French and Polish members in our team. Two of them have kids born here who are more than 5 and know nothing else. The way they've been described as bargaining chips is cuntish even for tories.

Going all Essemmbee, I always found it funny that when they rebranded as the black cats they used some kind of panther and not the good luck moggie it was obviously meant to be.
