I think the killing of characters is a bit too common - maybe that's been accelerated as it approaches the conclusion but it would be good to have a couple of Eps without having to wonder who's next. Nothing wrong with the occasional death especially in such a brutal world but it's getting out of hand at the moment.

I would also add that the acting troupe job is a good test for Arya as if I'd watched that play being her I'd want to kill them all.

Sister Sledge and Rose Royce are American as well which supports the desperation argument.

I like the way they've based the north on Yorkshire by and large but Davos the geordie knows nothing about it. Good nasty little twist with Hodor. Hope the new priestess doesn't wait long before getting them out.
-
Love the way they're more concerned with videoing it than fighting - though that would be the same here nowadays at a guess.
-
Congrats - a bit too red and whitey romper though

Torn here. I despise the mancs but abhor Pardew. Guess I'll settle for mild relief if it finishes this way.

Not saying the invasion was right but you'd think it was the end of the world the way they were going on.
-
Ridiculous hyperbole from the sky commentators on the pitch invasion - okay it was a bit ott but I didn't see the massive fights they were describing.

Don't forget they own most of "Ponteland" airport as well.
-
The worst I can remember was The Mag producing a "Let's all laugh at Sunderland" special - a bit too much imo but not like the incessant petty shit they get up to.

Their need for reassurance that their made up identity is somehow legitimate is desperate at times - I find the fact that there are people from the NE who don't give a shit about football strange but at the same time I accept it so trying to impose an allegiance on someone is just sad. The notion that they are "County Durham's team" is perhaps the most desperate bit - where anyone from there who isn't red & white is somehow a traitor.

I did it earlier to confirm what I thought - try "celebrity injunction".

I read Jackie Milburn's auto-biography a few years ago and he made the point about the Fairs cup that Don Revie spoke about Ujpest after they's knocked Leeds out where he described them as the best team in Europe and predicted they were going to hammer us easily.

Switched off thinking it was game over. Now it almost is but in a good way

Lots of tourists couldn't stop for another couple of days judging by the empty seems at OT.

Led Zep are the biggest metal band I've never really got though I recognise their status and influence . I think it's because they are very much blues based, more so than any other pioneers who I think carved out their own distinctive sound albeit with a blues element. I think it's this basis of their music which has made them more prone to accusations of plagiarism as I understand that technically, blues is more limited than "rock" as a whole. I'm not saying that within those limits, you can't write great music just that it's a narrower field. I liked Scott era AC/DC as I think they had a more sleazy sound but find them a bit samey overall.

Think it was just "father" without a posessive prefix. No reason he would know "the truth" anyway.

Reward for rioting.

Just watched it and came in here to say the same. I always thought she'd end up going back to get them on her side - good way to do it.

Newcastle United's useless set of glue sniffing cockwombles vs Spurs
NJS replied to Tom's topic in Newcastle Forum
I don't hold that much against Wijnaldum - he proved he's good enough when things are going well and against a backdrop of it being his first season and the generally awful away performances caused by the approach I think he could do well again. -
If he stays theres going to be a shit load of lower league thugs eager to wind him up. Shape up or ship out.

After that cup match in 87 when the gates were broken down straight after the end, the cunts were jumping on buses to get away but being a high St in London they weren't exactly moving quickly . Made up for the dodgy walks back in previous years.
