  1. That survey suggests that labour are doing something right as when I did that or a similar one before the last election my views were represented best by the liberals but now I get 80/10/10 Labour/Liberal/Green.
  2. "We won't be cunts" would be a start. Obviously one non-starter.
  3. Yeah like I trust fucking banks to tell the truth about liquidity. Might be tempted by an account at work.
  4. I got a random email last month from a site/app called BandsInTown which I installed and it browses the music on your phone then supposedly alerts you to local gigs based on bands you like and similar ones. To be fair a couple of useful ones have popped up but mainly for gigs I already knew about but I got one earlier for Belly playing a club in London tomorrow. Now Belly are one of my favourite bands ever and I worship at the feet of Tanya Donelly who was their leader but I know despite the question aleways being asked of her it's as unlikely as a Smiths reunion but I still allowed myself to start getting my hopes up. Turns out its some MC/DJ calling himself Belly - what a pisser. On a bright note the Goddess Tanya has been playing a few shows in the States so hopefully a trip across here might follow.
  5. Desperate attempt to get the crowd on his side IMO.
  6. If they didn't find ibranovic's appeal for the kidney punch the other year frivolous then they may as well appeal everything no matter what.
  7. I like the argument that 65k isn't enough so they need another source which is actually a demand to pay them a lot more. Of course even if their salaries were trebled, most of the cunts would still stick their snouts in other troughs.
  8. It's always particularly hilarious when they refer to "superstitions" like astrology or other aspects of spirituality as somehow worth mocking with absolutely no awareness of irony.
  9. Or Stevie's ultimate nightmare of prospective kids born in SS being deemed too OOT to qualify.
  10. I'm becoming a bit predictable as it happens I booked another trip to Cyprus for September after seeing a bargain discount, room and board upgrade for the hotel I went to the year before last. Only paid a deposit but looking at the latest euro rates it might be worth paying it all now.
  11. How fucking dodgy must HSBC have been for the SWISS regulatory body to raid them?
  12. I suppose he lives or dies on whether he considers blacks Italian or not. He could have a sort of point saying youth teams have too many foreigners at the expense of Italian born kids but the latter can obviously include all colours..

    Pet Hates!

I think the closest I've come to murder was during a Gene concert a few years ago when one of their songs (Is it over?) had a dramatic complete pause and the lad next to me shouted at his mate 2 fucking steps away to ask him if he was going out for a pint the next night. Complete disassociation from his surroundings.
  14. Wickham just signed a new contract reported at 60k Larsson preferred them over us so I'd assume a similar figure more than our general Max.
  15. Ex-boss of mine had the spontaneous version while on holiday. He was a keen holiday diver, asthmatic and light smoker which I presumed combined with the usual randomness factor.
  16. Thing is they've spent enough money under short to expect a bit better - which of course makes it funnier how shit they are.
  17. The money they owe the EU is long term whereas the pressure is on for the IMF money they've already had which is due to be repaid by 2020 I think. Not sure of the rates but maybe the EU are Wonga and the IMF are like a high St bank so it's better to get more from the IMF.

    Terrorism

My reading is that their religion is incidental to usual gun-toting fuckwittery. It never helps when people look for hate motives when they don't exist.
  19. "Gentleman's" agreement between two cunts if you ask me.
  20. Just read that article. My Nana started to go a little while before she died and it was horrible. An old mate of mine who moved to NI had to have his Dad moved to a home near him after his Mam died and I remember saying one thing I was "grateful" for about my Mam's death was that at least she kept her mind. She was a bit lost in the hospital near the end but that's all.
  21. Saw some in-house analysis yesterday which shows the level of crisis is over hyped. They are in the shit but not up to their necks as some suggest.
  22. Can't we re-sign his brother and with a bit of cut and paste make one functioning half-decent player out of the pair?
  23. I think that was the year before - that would have been the kind of luck Ardiles had. Luckily the only time I went to Pompey was the 4-1 in 84.
  24. Lad at work had his birthday today - fucker's 22 which means when he was born: 1993 Portsmouth (a) 0-2 (0-2) Division Two Whittingham(13), Symons(40) 21,028 A midweek trip to Fratton Park saw the Magpies lose their unbeaten record for the year at the ninth time of asking, deservedly beaten by Jim Smith's side. Kevin Keegan's side remained top of the league but a miserable night when little went right ended with David Kelly crashing an 85th minute penalty against the bar and into the crowd - former Pompey player John Beresford having been bundled over. I think that was just about the only game I missed that season which negates slightly my comment to the lad that when he was born I was watching Newcastle win the second division.
  25. BTW Aimaad "Are there regular trains?" Is probably the only daft thing you've ever said on here
