  1. Not even the bitch who just doesn't like negroid features?

    Hillsborough

I know it hasn't finished yet but today was a bit of a smoking gun moment when Duckenfield admitted failing to divert the fans from the main tunnel was the main cause.
  3. There's no way the city will allow Farage or anyone else to quit the EU.
  4. Exactly PL - I said at the time he should never play for us again for his bottle out against the cradle snatcher so apart from illustrating the stupidity of those in charge, I couldn't give a shit that the bloke's gone.
  5. Babylon 5 actually - Buffy is top 10 admittedly. (I should learn to quote really to stop Ewerk's interjections making me look daft).
  6. To follow what you said about Alex and his electronica reccomends, you're still on a red card/suspension from me for touting that Girls atrocity. (At Gemmill obviously)
  7. It's obvious to me that the most recent key was letting the less developed EU countries in knowing full well it would mean a shit load of workers migrating. I think the argument over whether 3 year moratoriums should have been in place are pointless as they would have come eventually. I think its plain the only gainers are the corporations and of course the fukcing farmers - but then again the latter are under severe pressure from the former. I would also like to think that the plainly stupid relaxation of Asian family visas wasn't as simplistically fuckwiited as Labour importing voters but when cunts like Madelson are involved I wouldn't put it past them. I think skilled/sponsored immigration is fine but as I've said before, even that has had a negative effect on salaries in my line of work. Whether anyone thinks UKIP are idiots are not, the practicalities of introducing any of their policies would be nightmarish.
  8. Missed a trick with Tuesday surely....
  9. Like there's anything really stopping employers choosing British people now.
  10. He's a bit of a prick but has now learned that playing up to that is lucrative. I quite enjoy the show and its ongoing downward trend actually adds to that but I wouldn't care if it ends now. The bbc's finances will suffer though.
  11. On the Cole thing, I suppose he could argue if he was feeling a bit off then it might be sort of better for the team to have someone else who was 100%. Probably wasn't his thinking but I hate having to think badly of someone I really liked. (See also Beardsley's brown tonguing of Ashley)
  12. I hold my hands up to not being a pet lover (while still opposing cruelty) but the number of articles referring to the Crufts "murders" really should have the journalists/editors shot.
  13. As I mentioned when talking about remembrance Sunday, I don't believe there's been any deployment since WWII that's been really justified except maybe the Falklands but I'd argue that was avoidable. I suppose you could argue for NI but that was a huge fuck-up generally.
  14. I'd like to see a wider debate on why we need any significant armed forces at all. Explain the scenarios which merit intervention abroad or the need for "defence" in general and then measure how likely the scenarios are. Of course it would raise too many questions about the need for engineered threats to justify arms sales but at least it would be honest (ish).
  15. Annoying as the Tories blaming the previous government for the financial crisis is, it pales completely with them getting away with blaming them for creating "benefit culture" as if the 80s never happened. I would honestly consider introducing a test before allowing people to vote covering the last 50 years of current affairs and basic economics.
  16. Red shirt rule and the ghost of Ferguson (FA cowardice) applies - I get that Papiss gets an extra game for the previous ban but giving the manc cunt the same when he denied it is fucking bullshit.
  17. Sorry about your Dad stevie - losing my parents is certainly the worst thing that's happened in my life and without having had kids I can't imagine anything worse.
  18. Cameron and Milliband are both trying to sleepwalk to some kind of victory. Cameron hopes laying low only to emerge to mutter "recovery" will work and Milliband hopes not even emerging will work (although at least he was game for a debate). Nobody wants or has a vision to sell.
  19. Definitely a "united" effort in the fuck-up department imo. Generally shit but we could have won it with a bit of luck. I still reckon we'd be better off playing with 10 men rather than than play Obertan though Sammy wasn't any better. Feel sorry for Abeid especially over the goal - not quite up to his form when he had the spell in October.

    Plex

Noticed on the streaming site I use for football that they've released a plex plug-in so I whacked it in and can now watch drivel like tonight's "entertainment" on all my Android devices including over 4g.

    Sam Allardyce

They finished sixth once - a fine achievement for Bolton but he always talks as if such positions were the norm.
  22. Just booked flights for a week in Rhodes at the start of June. Will sort out the hotel tonight -any suggestions?
  23. That survey suggests that labour are doing something right as when I did that or a similar one before the last election my views were represented best by the liberals but now I get 80/10/10 Labour/Liberal/Green.
