  1. I'm sick of reading about the 10m as if we all don't know it'll be called this as long as the cunt is here. Also the suggestion that any supposed money is just about the only way anybody will be signed needs highlighting
  2. Not sure when this broke as I was out last night and have just got up with a stinking hangover which doesn't change the fact that this reinforces my desire to see the cunt dead. I don't care if we win the league this year - some things are unforgiveable.

    Pet Hates!

Fucker turned up today - no apology - just couldn't be arsed to provide the overnight service I'd paid for.
  4. Got the week off so pretty relaxed - wanted to get started on a new diet/fitness kick and left for the gym earlier only to realise I had a puncture so came home - can't be arsed to change it just yet.
  5. Good point tbh. Maybe it's just the first time the FA have attempted to put a poppy on the shirts? The cynic in me is waiting for the auction/sale of the special shirts from this weekend - probably with a token donation which of course means it's all okay.

I have no time for pets - generally I think they are pointless but that doesn't mean I think any form of abuse is acceptable. My next door neighbour has two dogs - now there have been times in the past when they have been having a barking competition that I've had dark thoughts about mercy killings but generally I don't mind them. Last night the neighbours had a few people round and were letting off a shit load of fireworks which is annoying but not a great crime in itself but at a couple of points I could hear the dogs who were both out and about in the back garden whining and crying. Now sorry Cath but I couldn't help but thinking you utter, utter cunts.
  7. What was the crack with that incident where Cahill seemed to deck Colo off the ball? - it was just out of shot on tv and they ignored it. I'd love to see that worky cheat face a charge.
  8. You'll be surprised to know I think the Poppy appeal/fascism is a load of shite but at the same time I think FIFA should be shot for this - saying it's "political" is ludicrous. As others have said I'd let the team wear it and then pay the fine (but donate it to charity otherwise it'll just go into the pockets of the fuckers).

DPD couriers There are a couple of online retailers I've stopped using because of their use of these fuckers but sometimes you never know until too late. Bought a new monitor off Ebay (business seller) on Thursday - next day delivery but turned out it was via DPD. It was scanned at the depot at 1am on Friday morning but never went out for delivery. Phoned them last night and arranged depot visit this morning. I sat for an hour while they looked for it only to be then told it wasn't at the depot so they'd need to investigate - basically a driver or warehouseman has nicked it imo. Phoned them when I got home only to be told to contact seller and then be told that they (DPD) have absolutely no escalation or complaints process. I asked her how any customer focused business could fail in that respect so badly but got no response. I've emailed the seller and asked for a refund so I can buy one elsewhere. Never, ever use these people - and boycoutt any seller who does so.
  10. You can just imagine how clever Pulis thinks he is for doing it (though I suppose given their continuing top flight status he would argue it works). I remember Souness doing the same at Rangers where he allowed a team (Dinamo Kiev?) to actually train on the Ibrox pitch and them narrowed it as much as possible before the match just to upset them.
  11. I don't mind saying I thought he was excellent tonight.
  12. Hopefully every team will do it now. I remember a few years ago when the GB hockey team won the Olympics and the game was popular for about 5 minutes I couldn't help thinking how shit it was as the only way they ever scored was from a penalty short corner. Now we have the equivalent in Football - that's the level they've taken the game down to - playing for throws so a special teams (needs) player can hoy it in for a team of deformed donkeys. I really, really hate that paedo looking cunt of a manager.
  13. I also liked the hint of cuntishness in using the towel shit to waste time - whoever suggested that has potential.
  14. Told you they were shite. I'm starting to believe the hype - still think 7th is the best we can do unless we have a good window.
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if we do lose but I'm pig sick of all of this "hard place to go" bollocks. Stoke are fucking shit - they can be effective if teams get suckered into believing the hype and shitting themselves every time they get a fucking throw in but the bottom line is that players like Delap shouldn't be within a million miles of a top flight team. They have one good player - Woodgate. To me it's a good test of Pardew to see if he can get this exact message across.
  16. Reasonably happy - had to work today but managed to solve a problem that's been outstanding for a year with the vendor's help when my first appraisal takes place on Tuesday
  17. Not a tie but I was desperate for a hanky when I had a streaming cold once so wandered into one of the tailors in the City only to be asked for £12.50 for one - "Fucking keep it" didn't seem to impress the bloke much.
  18. How long a Toon Fan : As long as I can remember - I'm 47. Why the Toon : Dad/Brother - sadly my brother later became a traitorous glory-hunting scouse loving cunt. Location : CM1 Toon Games been to : A few hundred - sporadic pre 79 but from 79 to 96 I missed at the most 3 or 4 games a year, 96-09 I missed 8 or 9. Where we have been / are going : Went to almost all the European games but can't see any more anytime sadly - it's good to see some half decent players and a bit of team spirit but without big money we're limited.
  19. Seen this referred to but didn't realise there was a single simple thread. I'm a half and half wiper - off the seat but still sort of squatting.

Now I have a busier walk to work I find my perfectly well brought up polite "give and take" approach to right of way to simply walking in the city is taken advantage off by cunts who think not diverting their path is some kind of Alpha male (women do it as well) behaviour that makes them get up and go city slickers. I'm so tempted to copy them and knock a few twats over to see if I can teach them something.
  21. Agree booing is pathetic but can undersatand peoples frustration and wanting to make their feelings noted. If managers have what I think is a blind spot about a player, the fans do I suppose have a right to try and influence him - it's a toughie as applause in appreciation of effort (I think he does try) is fair enough but shouldn't mask the fact that the bloke is crap.
  22. Make sure you turn off the taps on the water hoses. Seems obvious but… And have a washing ready to catch anything that comes out if the waste water pipe. Gaffer tape the hose ends upright before you shift it. Pulled it out and started to loosten the hoses before realising they need to be switched off Waste pipe looks like a tough job to disconnect
  23. Does anyone know how to disconnect a washing machine or knows of any pitfalls? I'm having a new one delivered today which is the first one I've ever had to buy and just realised part of the installation/recycle deal is the old one has to be disconnected.
  24. Going a bit Daily Hitler here but even though I agree with the sentiment the practicalities of being able to put whatever life you have on hold to do stuff like this begs the question what are they living on? I can't help thinking some of the trendy London ones especialley will be living on Daddy's allowance which will have a probably conflicted source.
  25. I realised I actually bought some CDs a few months ago - all 5 remastered Suede albums.
