  1. God help us, who gives a toss, whether he does or or does not have a clue, Long live abracadabra
  2. nowt to do with richard Dinnis yer daft shite I think accas referring to the fact the players were largely (dis)credited with getting Dinnis the job in the first place? aaah, a shaft of light in the darkness. the prat that posted the ''witty'' reply obviously began supporting long after 1977 and hasn't a clue what happened with Richard Dinnis and the players at that time - Nattrass and Kennedy were at the forefront - a bit like Barton and Nolan. when players start pushing for a temporary guy to take over permanently and the guy gets it, thats when the trouble begins a la Dinnis and more recently Spragia of Sunderland. the "prat" that posted the "witty" reply has supported the club a lot longer and more than you sunshine, he also was one of the few people who realised that Gordon Lee [who left the team Dinnis took into the top 5, a feat not equalled for almost 20 years] actually did a good job for the club and weren't completely blinded by the fact that whatever he did was shite on account of them selling their "hero". Good knowledgeable supporters my arse. Edit: incidentally, Nattrass and Kennedy were only the spokesman for the group, being local lads with the assumation that it would therefore carry more weight. Micky Burns, Geoff Nulty, Alan Gowling were also instrumental in the walkout, which in my view would have fully justififed anyway, such as the club being run at the time by a bunch of knackers, just like now in fact. A situation reversed completely by the reviled Halls and Shepherd.
  3. There were many for me but one in particular stands out, 1971/72 season, August 21st when Newcastle United's season ignited before a large St James Park crowd. 39,720 gathered to see Malcolm Macdonald make his home debut against unbeaten Liverpool, with a newcomer by the name of Kevin Keegan drawing rave reviews… Yet the day belonged to "Supermac", a magnificient hat-trick securing a rousing 3-2 win for the home side.
  4. Have I missed something http://www.4thegame.com/club/newcastle-united-fc/
  5. When my old man used to take me in the 50's it was the Gallowgate, but when I started going with my mates it was the Leazes and when I was living away from home, whenever I came up for a match it was always beneath the 10 minute flag. My fondest time was watching the toon in the late 60's with my mates in the Leazes end. After all that waffle it has to be a Leazes Ender.
  6. This season! His celebration should be worth seeing!
  7. Steve Wraithe, check out players inc website. I think Steve must write the content for the site too.
  8. Will Assley now take us off the market until the next transfer window
  9. Where's the sauce when you need one, has anyone heard from Redheugh?
  10. All will close very soon, no new players, a few more gone and Assley still with 100% control. Just off to drown myself in a barrel of ale.
  11. Could you PM me a link if thats true mate? +1 thanks
  12. Fuck that, it's Bryan Gunn!!!!!! Nah, it's Boy George all coked up at a gay strip club Bless him. It's him from the Addams Family
  13. What do you know? This BOD's attracts some IDIOT NEW bidder with the emphasis on idiot. The last time we were up for sale Sheard was going to recruit the services of Beckham but he went to some other small time club on loan. Sheard is a nutcase and certainly not on any planet that I am on, also he's a Huddersfield Supporter and no doubt using this to get free entry on Wednesday. Only Assley and Lame-arse could be associated with an alleged bid from lunatic Sheard. Maybe I'm over-reacting but I wonder how much more bullshit will be reported whilst this arsehole owns us?
  14. As far as I've been told Steven Taylor has not yet spoken to Everton. I suspect that will change if there is no movement on ownership and the appointment of Shearer. Looking at today's announcement, what a surprise. If Assley appointed anyone other than Shearer and eventually Moat is the new owner, compensation would be necessary if Moat really did want to appoint Shearer as Manager.
  15. Has Taylor been talking to Moyes, I bet Taylor's old man has had a conversation with Moyes. Tony Adams was at the mid-week match sniffing around for Arsenal. I predict he will stay?
  16. Is Taylor discussing terms or is it the clubs or both, Taylor and the clubs?
  17. You do understand if this doesn't happen it's a weekend ruiner? I agree, but all I can do is tell you what I have been told, no embellishments whatsoever. The same person did not say that it would include new ownership, that apart I can only pray. And they have not sold Taylor, and that was one of the conditions that Shearer pu forward. As I say I can only tell you what I have been told. Pfft. WAS

  19. I honestly think Bassong would have left Shearer or no Shearer. French twats. I also heard the same, plus Beye.
  20. There's only one type of source, well spotted! Gotta be Broooooon!
