Hi folks

Tonight I'm getting a bus to Heathrow, and tomorrow morning I'm flying to India. I'm gonna be there for 8 weeks, spending five weeks working in a hospital here and three weeks travelling. It's monsoon season, but hopefully the flooding in the North of India won't spread to the South where I'll be. Although I've had this planned since Janurary I haven't talked about it much as it was all dependent on the exam results I recieved on Wednesday, which fortunately I passed. If I manage to get on the internet at some point I'll pop on to see how we're doing under Big Sam and tell you what I'm up to.

Here's to a great start to the season

Sounds class. Have a good time. Don't drink the water though - filling your kegs whilst performing an intricate medical procedure is a no-no.

Hi guys

Having a blast in India, sitting in an internet cafe in Mysore where I'm staying for the rest of this week. The hospital I'm working in is a bit basic (anaesthetic machine belongs in a museum) and despite their best intentions I've never really appreciated how fuckin awesome the NHS really is! Everyone is lovely there though, one of the doctors has been teaching us how to make curry, bahjis, all sorts. I've done quite a bit of travelling at the weekends, just had a splendid weekend at the beach in Mallapuram. Getting very brown and doing my best not to get very fat with all the curry I am eating.

I see we've made a decent start to the season, which makes a change. Amused me no end to see that Man U were in the relegation zone.
