We do our fair share of shooting ourselves in the foot. I am just hoping we don't experience a Gomes flap resulting in a goal. Stevie and Tom will be intolerable. Shame some of the more southern based fans couldn't show the same. I dont think Martins and Owen are a great partnership anyway (as two up front), but I did like them in a three up front as mentioned earlier. Cant see Viduka starting, so Id imagine it will be Owen & Carroll up front, Viduka possibly coming on later in the game for one of those. He has a good first touch and a fierce shot but he isnt premiership paced. I hope it is fatigue from playing 2 seasons back to back and getting used to the mental pace. Who knows. One more season. I can't really see us getting anything from this one but I live in hope and we do have a habit of picking up results against them.
