Unless there's a French Sky Sports, I'd say that article is a load of nonsense.

I've been hearing buzz all day that he's going to sign imminently - but dont know whether this buzz is correct.

Craftsman of the Lille doubled this season, Gervinho wants to turn the page and has already expressed his desire to see another championship. England is his preference. His wish may soon be answered as, according to Sky Sports, the arrival of Gervinho in Newcastle would be imminent. The Magpies have found an agreement with their counterparts through a transfer from Lille to 16 million euros. According to English media information, it remains only Gervinho to agree on final details of his contract for a final commitment. He will join teammate Yohan Cabaye whose arrival in Newcastle is normally granted. Two shots to the sacred teammates Hatem Ben Arfa, if such information were found to be true.

The other story seems to be that Lille are going to sign Jelen from Auxerre, who is a striker.

Toon also seem to be cooling on the prospect of bringing in Lille’s Ivory Coast forward Gervinho.

The player himself favours a move to England and either Newcastle or Arsenal, but neither club appear entirely sold on him.

The Sunday Sun understand that his advisors are now contemplating whether to see out the final year of his contract with the French champions – and have the pick of Europe’s best as a free agent in 12 months’ time.

Movement is unlikely over the next week, with Toon MD Derek Llambias away for most of next week.

He is being kept abreast of developments, and Newcastle are ready to move if things change.

But with players on international duty and key staff taking hard-earned breaks, things have calmed on the transfer front after the impressive capture of Yohan Cabaye.

Laughable that it suggests the gimboid's on point, poised like a coiled cobra .

Be slumped sweating like a slimy mofo on a sunlounger somewhere reading his Jilly Cooper books tryin t stop the sweat running into his porky eye slits .
