I thought that was genuinely cowardly from him last night. Knew Palace would cause them problems and rather than do his job, he sent out a team designed to get beat to take the pressure off himself. Right down to giving them no options off the bench.

I can't imagine the dressing room being too impressed by that.

Here's the team and bench he put out when they played Southampton in the last round. Context being it was a struggling Championship side at home, and Liverpool were coming off 6 wins on the bounce in the PL and Europe:

Screenshot_20251030-074425.thumb.png.8f48f1ef5aa73123b2108ae04fa5b569.pngScreenshot_20251030-074727.thumb.png.43249b700894d7e0328de5e5b3ff7ef5.png

I don't know how you then explain putting out a much weaker squad vs a PL side who you've struggled against recently, other than to call it a bottle job by the manager.

he's an absolute thundercunt.

they can't beat crystal palace with their first team, he chucked the kids under the bus.

despicable, arrogant, excuse making, fraud of a man.

hope aston villa tear the bindipping cunts apart at the weekend.

If I'm Chiesa, I'm fucking fuming with him. Sending him out to lead the line with the bairns behind him, and no hope on the bench.

he was crying like a baby and using the excuse that they'd played 5 out of 6 away from home in their losing run.

last night was the first of 5 out of 6 at home. good start, hope they get similarly tonked in the next 5....

Lovely overhearing a South African "Liverpool fan"  in the office whinging about their situation.

Why don't you embrace your team's identity and go and steal a car, you cunt.

Slot claiming in his press conference that it's the same selection he made last year in games like this.

Well let's have a look at that, shall we?

This is the team he played in the first round in which PL clubs get involved against West Ham:

Screenshot_20251030-083644.thumb.png.7824d137286e0485a78f8ad6f9c2dd09.png

Screenshot_20251030-084316.thumb.png.63d7804a1050cc1a1428c6f64828afc6.png

Which IS WAY stronger than last night, despite being at an earlier stage of the contest. And the bench btw.

This is the team he played in the equivalent round to last night's game last season:

Screenshot_20251030-084218.thumb.png.570c7f5c303b795173d55724c3f36509.png

Which is also fuck all like what he put out last night.

And this is the team he put out in the quarter finals last season:

Screenshot_20251030-083551.thumb.png.92e514d4b4bee52a1cdd1b79acdb51fb.png

Screenshot_20251030-084417.thumb.png.9c01b69f9d1ad9bcffa7fd2969617109.png

Not to mention the fact that he's already played a stronger team in an earlier round of the contest this time around.

I'm not looking at last year's semi final cos I assume he's not trying to claim he tossed that off.

All of which leads us to the conclusion that not only is he a coward, he's also a lying cunt who sent out lambs to the slaughter to protect his own ego.

Journalist challenges him on his claim that he played the same squads last year. Slot says I don't think that's right, I don't think I had Salah on the bench vs West Ham.

He's south african, so all he needs is a wheelchair and he'll fit right in the Anfield disabled section giving black lads a hard time.

I hope Eddie is sitting somewhere, quietly chuckling away to himself since he’s the one that set this all in motion by making Slot look like a total tit with the cup final. Throwing the league game to change it up against him in the final and he didn’t have a clue what to do. Next thing you know, Howe has sold them a duck egg for £130m and Slot is absolutely falling apart in a hilarious, very public manner. Let that be a lesson

Entirely this, which is appalling. Hopefully the find themselves out of the CL and an early exit from the FA Cup too.

Claiming that City and Chelsea have huge squads whereas with Liverpool as soon as they have 4 injuries he has to play 4 under 19s.

For someone really keen to drill home how much of a juggernaut Liverpool are this seems extremely small time.

outrageous that howe's odds aren't longer.

maresca's on the other hand should be much shorter. i doubt he'd survive the sort of results slot is putting up

Looking back, Howe might think he made a mistake chucking the game at Anfield.  Slott clearly doesn't have an answer anyway so he may as well have played the same way and won both games.

Neither would Le Bris.  Obviously I understand the long odds given the way they are performing at the moment, but we all know how quick them lot are to turn on managers (they wanted him out before the playoffs ffs).  If they go through a bad spell I don't doubt they'd be quick to turn on him.  They lost against Burnley and some of the things they were saying were unbelievable.

I’ve just checked “ The Ways of Liverpewl Football Clghub” for reference and on page two, after,

“ Loudly hold a minutes’ silence whenever possible”

and before,

“ Push walls on to Italian fans , then utterly erase it from our history”

there it is …

” Liverpool Football Club does not sack managers during the season”

He's claiming it shows his squad isn't as good as City's. Conveniently forgetting that he left about 10 first team players out of the squad and spent the best part of £0.5b in the Summer

Is that to leave their job, or to be sacked? Because there's no way Glasner should be that short to be sacked
