The professional thing to do is start looking to the next match. You don't take them off straight away cos you still have a chance to turn it around then, and you have to guard against injuries. Funnily enough we always do poorly after an enforced break. Pardew tried to stop that by changing the schedule... looks like it didn't make any difference.
