I'm alone here in thinking maybe Linekar and Shearer have done us a solid? Less bullshit waffle and longer highlights of each game sounds magic.

Think their contracted to show a maximum of 10 minutes footage each game. So shorter program maybe.

Ah well that sucks. Helps explain why good, extended highlights are so rare though.

I'd enjoy MOTD far more if there was less Hansen and Jenas and more real-time, uninterrupted footage of the actual game.

Now it's over the commentators to subvert the process further. "And Bournemouth take the lead against Liverpool! I did Nazi that coming."

Fucking hell. Even MF didn't go there! 🙂

They fly to Newcastle and then get a coach down there. Makes total sense.

I don’t know what he’s on about. Wright has zero appearances on Soccer Saturday since Le Tissier was sacked.

Le Tissier is so fucking thick he can’t see the difference

The BBC has absolutely ruined its flagship football show at the behest of the right wing media and a few bellend Tory politicians. Well played lads.

Let's see if you can sort it out by next weekend or if MOTD is basically Transworld Sport now.

Is that allowed on the BBC anymore?
