Newcastle United have named their squad for the tour of the United States.

McClaren has named a 24 man squad which includes new signing Georginio Wijnaldum however the Holland midfielder will team up with the squad later.
However, as expected France midfielder Remy Cabella misses out on the trip along with others carrying knocks such as Paul Dummett, Cheick Tiote, Mehdi Abeid, Sylvain Marveaux and Rob Elliot.
Newcastle face Club Atlas of Mexico, Sacramento Republic and Portland Timbers on a 10-day tour.
Squad in full: Rolando Aarons, Vurnon Anita, Adam Armstrong, Gael Bigirimana, Papiss Cisse, Jack Colback, Fabricio Coloccini, Karl Darlow, Siem de Jong, Shane Ferguson, Curtis Good, Yoan Gouffran, Massadio Haidara, Daryl Janmaat, Tim Krul, Jamaal Lascelles, Gabriel Obertan, Ayoze Perez, Emmanuel Riviere, Moussa Sissoko, Steven Taylor, Georginio Wijnaldum, Mike Williamson, Freddie Woodman

Anyone buy that that lot have "injuries"?

Dummett was at the game on friday walking with a slight limp if that makes you sleep better tonight.

Tiote and Abeid though?

any of this on tv? or just on net streams?

I think there's a live feed planned on YouTube for the Sacramento game.

Must say that any confidence I had in the brolly-boy just took a dip. To start Willo and leave him on for 90 minutes in a losing pre-season match does not instill faith in he "knows what he's doing".

I hope to God he's not considering Wilo and Lascells as his central defenders. Other than Krull he didn't make any changes until the 72 minute. Too late Nathan.

It's pre-season man. You can't be losing confidence in the new manager after one meaningless match which is almost entirely about fitness.

Probably not, but I guess I can't understand McLaren playing Willo for 90 minutes. You don't need that long to see he's nee good.

There's word of more players coming in at centre back. So McClaren is probably aware he is fucked if he starts the season with Willo anywhere near the first team.

Who does he play instead? we've not got any further options at CB that are likely to be near the first team this year.

Be honest Noelie you've never had confience in Mclaren, you've just had this odd fixation on the fact he once used an umbrella when it was raining.
