Champion. Go anywhere, wear my USSR 88 top and shit myself in a doorway after 15 pints and 5 curry wursts. Sounds like normal holiday for me

Just don’t do a Belanov and try to nick some jewellery in the KDW in between.

Went back to the room at our hotel, kid comes in to top up mini bar, I says no to Fanta but I'll have more moretti, he gets confused and says cruzcampo, I say, cruzcampo, moretti and Heineken are fine, he comes back full of bottles and cans of moretti, cruzcampo AND Heineken. I just start laughing, give him the internationally recognised thumbs up and say 'muchos gracias, mi amigo, Tu numero Uno trabajar in Ikos' basically telling him in pidgin Spanish that I'm very grateful and he's the best worker in this hotel' he laughed and got the drift. 😁 More as I get it.

Also today, had a black Adidas NUFC t-shirt on and been stopped and spoken with by a few Spanish workers/gardeners and an Italian inter fan all talking about NUFC, a Spanish gardener Málaga fan was telling me about Cordero(sp) who's signing from his team, says they're not happy with him fucking off but what a player he is/could be. Of course I said to everyone of therm, 'do you hate the makems anarrl?' and they all replied they absolutely did and they only spoke to me because they loved the Amazon prime show about us.

I'm still amazed that 1) HMHM is at a hotel which has a minibar 2) the minibar (now) has more than 1 type of local beer and 3) he can afford to drink from said minibar.

If you're about to tell me it's all inclusive and included I'm reassessing my life.

"Alreet bonny lad, non of that Fanta Naranja lark shite, get some of that Say-Vay-Tha in there"
"¿Señor de la cerveza?"
"Easy for yee to say"
"Chop on now lad, its Fiesta time"
"Señor, es Siesta?"
"Aye aye, jog on Pedro"

Of course it's all inclusive, don't normally do them but saved up for our silver anniversary so went the extra mile, normally prefer a private villa but due a change. Consider me the the bloke who saved his money but had his bait in a sunblest bag who the bairns called 'bogey'. It's all about dignity, Mon Ami!

Not at all. Just jealous as fuck.

I once went 5 star before kids, seems like a very distant memory.

I've got two kids under eight and have been for a week in a 5* all inclusive hotel in each of the last two years without any kids. Just to really pile on your misery. ;)

Rents is about to sell your story to the Daily Mail, 'Layabout who can't hold down a job and his benefits claimant wife (TOO ILL TO WORK!) enjoy five star luxury Mediterranean break - at YOUR expense'.

He's gone very right wing these days.

Can anyone recommend me somewhere for a week in late June? Just me and the bairn (16) once his exams are finished. Neither of us like other people’s kids so ideally somewhere quiet in the Med, preferably a decent standard hotel all-inclusive in a small coastal bay. Not particularly bothered about there being loads of sightseeing but we both like a boat trip. Just really need to get away and the bairn has a brutal exam timetable and has worked his arse off so deserves a break when it’s all done. Thank you nicely 😘

Santa Eulalia in Ibiza is canny.  Its quiet and Spanish compared to the other parts of Ibiza.  We have been a few times and are off again in September.  Has a beautiful marina with restaurants about.
or
Sardinia.  Been to Porto Cervo and that's beautiful

Off to Bilbao and San Sebastián in June. Going to mooch around eating and drinking for 10 days.

Got a week in Mallorca end of August as well to sit in the sun and read a book.

Work has been a right drag recently so can’t wait for either.

Ive stayed here a few times and it's nice. Not all inclusive but there are plenty of restaurants in Lindos. It's about 2 miles outside of the town centre so it helps to get a cheap hire car. Lovely boat trips too
