Impossible, I eyeball everyone I see. Man, woman and child, it’s how I was raised.

Honestly, you really don’t want to end up in a conversation with any of these two.

Sat in the lounge at Manchester airport waiting for our flights to Bilbao, can’t fucking wait

We won’t make it to Bilbao. Eating my way through pintxos in San Sebastián, then going back to Bordeaux to restock with red wine…

How is Bilbao @strawb ?

Im currently looking at a city break next month and this top of my list.

It’s fucking class, 40 degrees currently so I’m sweating my pig tits off.

The food is great, but it’s quite difficult to understand if you don’t speak a bit of Spanish cos there’s hardly a place with a menu. You either guess or ask. Everyone speaks great English though if you are struggling.

The tourist areas are quite small or close together so a 3 day job would probably do.

Guggenheim was cool, parks are class and ignoring my point above bring some comfy shoes cos we did nearly 13 miles walking around yesterday.

Don’t blame you now I’m here, it’s a lot chiller here than in Bilbao and the food is nicer from what I’ve seen

I did loved Bilbao last time I was there, some parts not being as posh and touristy as San Sebastian, pintxos cheaper but mostly as good. But can’t really judge as a lot has changed in the last ten years tbh.

It's raw then?...

Grilled, not cut into rings, just olive oil and salt, nothing else.

You should know batter about Spanish tapas and calamari tbh.

I'm not going there, but Toonpack and Dr Gloom will pick this up later and spend three days of the transfer window making dreadful piscean related puns. They both talk POLLOCKS

Ps... I have had squid (and octopus, much to my wife's disgust) such as you suggest  in Alicante's last traditional tapas bar...the condensation off the ceiling dripped into your food if you weren't careful .. no idea if it's still there, few years back now...

I'm taking a break from exploding in the loo upstairs, to vacation vomit in the loo in the basement because it's cooler.

Not just a toilet lid prop, this thing.
