Today it’s worth less than $10bn and he still owes $13bn in outstanding bank loans he took out for the purchase. It has haemorrhaged advertisers and it’s shift to right wing politics means its value is only going to decrease further. I know it has brought him benefits like being closely embedded in the next US government but he has taken a hell of a financial battering over it. Go woke go bro….oh wait a minute. Gemmill 45715
On this twitter debate, I'd just add that if you really believe that Musk is trying to interfere with democracy and the rule of the law globally, but very specifically in the UK at the minute, and that his means of doing all of that is twitter.... Why the fuck would you still have an account on that website, never mind be logging in and scrolling through it. You're literally a part of the problem.

I would add, if you are so afflicted but want to share a story/tweet from there, please screenshot it and post, so we don't give the cunt the clicks. Rayvin 5262
How far fetched is it to imagine that Trump changes the constitution to permit non-natural born citizen to become President? To me that feels more likely than any sort of coup or dismantling of democracy.

Interesting juxtaposition. Under that scenario Musk would still need to be elected and I don't think he's very popular at all. But I can honestly see the end of democracy as we know it anyway, some pretence like in Russia. Probably achieved through extreme voter suppression. I mean, nobody thought we'd get where we are so why not?

ewerk 30942
It’s not a matter of respecting anything. It’s impossible without an amendment or a coup.

Presumably with both the house and senate under republican control, along with the supreme court, an amendment should be possible for them? I mean what other structure would they need to control?
