That was coming. Keeper at fault obviously but Stones has lost in dangerous positions possession fannying on about 4 times in the first 10 mins. It’s ridiculous doing that much against a pressing side like Liverpool. Massive risk relative to the potential gain

I blame Pip.

That’s what Andrew calls him

I just can't get away with Guardiola, tbh. Can unnecessarily be a knob too often, Klopp comes across better at times but is too often a twisty cunt when it doesn't go his way.

I like the philosophy but he seems to think he’s so special whilst ignoring that you can only play that way, without worrying about pragmatism, when you’ve been indulged with best players in the world.

He’s also very culpable to total brain farts in big games like this. Seems to fall into the trap of thinking that he’s going to surprise the opposition by changing things around but just ends up playing into their hands.

Mind, it’s amazing how many goals Liverpool score from doing simple things that nobody else seems to do properly anymore like closing down keepers, having the full backs join the attacks and just general graft

Looking at the next 4 games for Burnley and Everton, and consulting the crystal ball.... Everton will be in the relegation zone after the next 4 games.

They'll have 4 to play vs Burnley's 3 at that stage, so they might still get out of it but let's hope not eh.
