This sounds to me like a message to the chairman. Wasn't it stated before that all major deals have to be signed off by Saudi? If so then I can see that causes delays in a world where time can be of the esseence.

Its not quite the story of Rogers tbf, he was 16 when he signed for man city, had loans out as a lot of youngsters do, sold to boro as part of the city youth team churn to generate cash and then got a move to villa six months later because he was brilliant.
