This is an interesting watch.

Thanks I really enjoyed that. Good presenter and it's nice to see informed analysis for a change. The only thing he didn't say is "Hot Mitch Summer" but you can't have everything I suppose....

Bit of a left-field transfer but I wonder if we give Evan Ferguson a try? He was great a couple of years ago, still young and surely his stock has dropped enough that the price is reasonable.

Im confident Howe would get him playing well again.

He's still probably gonna cost £30m+ though. I think if they want a big lump up front, the DCL rumours will turn out to be true. Free and his injury record will mean we should be able to keep his wages down.

Would be fine with me. Next to no risk cos he's free and a decent enough option off the bench. We're not going to have the money to do everything in one window and strikers are expensive.

Three league goals in 23 appearances this season. Putting aside the two decent seasons he had then DCL is a mediocre striker who would be taking up a spot for a younger option who we could develop.

Howe doesn't play kids. You can get a younger option in to develop, but he's not getting any meaningful game time.

Lewis Hall?

Ferguson has to be a better gamble than an absolute cripple.

Aye DCL is an absolute no for me, he doesn't need matches to get injured.

Absolute crock and on a 'free' he'll want more wages than he's worth.

Constant hamstring and joint issues, he's 28 and shown no signs that it was just bad luck when he was younger, hes made of glass.

You have to go back 5 years for him to have had the kind of season where we ought to be considering him, since then he's been crap or injured. Why would we sign him?

And Livramento, and Miley when the need arose.

He plays the players who are good enough.

The cunts just can't help themselves can they? Apparently a 'well reliable source' has said Isak is open to a move to London. Fuck off.

That has to just be paper talk, If thats true then arsenal are stupid because thats just "a striker"

Isak doesn't play like Gyokeres who doesn't play like Sesko who doesn't play like Isak.

Given how much of a system manager Arteta is you'd expect them to have some sort of profile in mind.

i don't see isak moving to arsenal. his next move will be to a super club with a history of winning the CL. if we finish CL it's a sideways step. i don't think arsenal are that far ahead of us.

How long did it take him to start Hall regularly? How much game time has Osula seen? Cos we need a second striker that's ready to go on day 1 next season.

Miley wouldn't have got as much game time as he did if we weren't basically down to 11 fit players.

Like ewerk has said. DCL has played 23 games all season for Everton.

This doesn't concern you?  He's a fucking cripple.

And the chances of him being ready are less than 50% given his track record.

Gemmill’s comments about DCL are fair but if we’re looking at replacing CALLUM “I WAS OUT FOR 3 MONTHS WITH A POORLY TIT” WILSON then I think it’s something we should pass on really :cuppa:

Jonathan David is an option, especially as he's out of contract, but keeping both him and Isak happy would be a headache.

In an around the consistent 'Isak to Arsenal' rumours, I can see them ending up with David instead.
